more like the sound of a man who has completely lost it
Obviously. He is from New Hampshire, the best state in the country. Granted, i think he is an idiot, but don`t tell me he is some redneck fairweather fan. I don`t know any fairweathers in new hampshire. think of the red sox. everyone has been a huge sox fan their whole lives, people like my grandparents who never thought they would see us win the world series, but still were die hard to the end.
The "12th man" is a legitimate distraction for visiting teams, I agree, but it`s also a marketing ploy. Here, try this: do you think the Bolts could play without you? Hmmmm, well, let`s see, yes! They did just that last week against the Colts. So "you" didn`t win. Your friends didn`t win. The Chargers did. Granted, you got to see your team win, in pretty impressive fasion, I might add, but you aren`t a member of the Chargers and "you" didn`t win that game.
I`m not trying to be an ass, I`m just saying I find the idea delusional that a fan speaks and acts as if he/she is a member of the team.
At least this guy can grow his hair out and hide his shame should it ever come to it..
no he won`t, why you may ask? while... same principle as when people buy lawrence taylor jerseys.
I love football just as much as the next fan, but wtf.. No way! I wonder if he`ll get the facemask tattooed on his face -- right across his upper lip and chin.
Oh yeah guy.. "I really feel like I`m part of the Patriots.." Minus the fact that you don`t actually PLAY.
It`s not unreasonable for a fan to include himself in such a way, especially in football. Ever heard of the 12th man? The hometown fans make it extremely difficult for the opposing offense to hear, forcing a lot of pre-snap penalties.
In short, I love the Chargers, and hope WE beat the Pats tomorrow.
Try it without the fire retardent clothing Nick
An Oasis (`90s Brit pop band) fan had the lead singer`s face and pictures of some lines from Oasis songs written on parchment tattooed onto his back!
Wouldn`t it suck to be him if Oasis suddenly were hated by everyone...
Anyway, he certainly is dedicated and, hell, if he starts liking the Colts or something, he can always just grow out his hair, right?
Tom Brady *has* to meet that guy if the patriots win, otherwise I have a feeling he`s going to off himself or summat.
