"it`s the sound of dedication..."

more like the sound of a man who has completely lost it

There is this guy in the Chicago area that goes to Bear signings, and has them sign his body, then goes to the tat shop and has their signatures tattoed just as they are. His goal is to get as many `86 Bears that he can.
btw he looks like a freakin. moron.

I understand and appreciate all of your points, SmagBoy1. I`m just saying that the support and money of the fans are what make a franchise successful, so anybody who is loyal and pays to watch a team can rightfully consider themselves a part of the organization, no matter how insignificant it may seem. They`re obviously not a part of the team in terms of being on the roster, but they still contribute to the success of the franchise and should be able to include themselves in the celebration and sense of pride.

dilldog123: "most important question.(for me at least) was he a fan before this year? if he is, he is a stupid, retarded, and redneck fair weather fan."

Obviously. He is from New Hampshire, the best state in the country. Granted, i think he is an idiot, but don`t tell me he is some redneck fairweather fan. I don`t know any fairweathers in new hampshire. think of the red sox. everyone has been a huge sox fan their whole lives, people like my grandparents who never thought they would see us win the world series, but still were die hard to the end.

Ha! Okay, AKappy, you keep right on thinking that. Personally, I`d say, "Dude, the Chargers played great and we (as in, the fans) totally had the (insert opponent`s name here)`s offense off kilter with our yelling. They couldn`t even think straight we were so loud!"

The "12th man" is a legitimate distraction for visiting teams, I agree, but it`s also a marketing ploy. Here, try this: do you think the Bolts could play without you? Hmmmm, well, let`s see, yes! They did just that last week against the Colts. So "you" didn`t win. Your friends didn`t win. The Chargers did. Granted, you got to see your team win, in pretty impressive fasion, I might add, but you aren`t a member of the Chargers and "you" didn`t win that game.

I`m not trying to be an ass, I`m just saying I find the idea delusional that a fan speaks and acts as if he/she is a member of the team.

This ranks right up there with people who get band names tattooed on their arms, backs, etc.. I knew a guy who got the Godsmack symbol tattooed on his arm.. He wasn`t the only one.. it got so bad that tattoo studios refused to do the Godsmack symbol anymore..

At least this guy can grow his hair out and hide his shame should it ever come to it..

who would do that for Tom Brady? why not just put a big sign that says I like arrogant douchebags it would be less expensive and less painful for him and everyone who has to look at him. Another reason I hate Patriot Fans.

Sometimes, when you feel out of control like there`s nothing in life you can do anything about, a tattoo says, "I`m in charge of my skin, damn it!"

"What an idoit, what happens when Tom Brady retires or goes to another team, he`ll be drated!"

no he won`t, why you may ask? while... same principle as when people buy lawrence taylor jerseys.

To each their own.. But what a loser!!

I love football just as much as the next fan, but wtf.. No way! I wonder if he`ll get the facemask tattooed on his face -- right across his upper lip and chin.

Oh yeah guy.. "I really feel like I`m part of the Patriots.." Minus the fact that you don`t actually PLAY.

"It`s like when a fan says, "We sure did have a hard game this week," or, "We could have won if the refs wouldn`t a screwed us." I think, "Are you on the team?""

It`s not unreasonable for a fan to include himself in such a way, especially in football. Ever heard of the 12th man? The hometown fans make it extremely difficult for the opposing offense to hear, forcing a lot of pre-snap penalties.

In short, I love the Chargers, and hope WE beat the Pats tomorrow.

That`s nothing.

An Oasis (`90s Brit pop band) fan had the lead singer`s face and pictures of some lines from Oasis songs written on parchment tattooed onto his back!

Wouldn`t it suck to be him if Oasis suddenly were hated by everyone...

My only gripe is the idea that he now feels like he`s part of the Patriots. It`s like when a fan says, "We sure did have a hard game this week," or, "We could have won if the refs wouldn`t a screwed us." I think, "Are you on the team?"

Anyway, he certainly is dedicated and, hell, if he starts liking the Colts or something, he can always just grow out his hair, right?
