This video clip starts off pretty slow--give it a few seconds. Eventually his footwork almost hypnotizes you.

this is one of the best things I have seen on IAB. Thanks for showing it to us.

Does the guy have on those shoes with wheels in the heels? kinda looks like it at a couple of points where his feet kind of glide over the pavement.

This is the video for Rjd2`s "Work It Out" from... (more)
Added: July 25, 2007
This is the video for Rjd2`s "Work It Out" from `The Third Hand` (XL Recordings). The vid features Bill Shannon who was born with a degenerative hip condition. His legs cannot carry his own weight and so he has lived a life on crutches. He has developed a new way of moving through life on his skateboard and the crutches. Though this may look like a recreational hobby or a debilitation, it is simply how Bill maneuvers throughout the day. In time to Rjd2`s song "Work It Out" we follow Bill as he makes his way around. At the slow start, Bill is descending the courthouse steps in downtown Brooklyn. It`s difficult, but he makes it down and the rest you`ll just have to watch to understand. Rjd2 plays several extras which you can try to spot as well. The video, directed by Joey Garfield, is one continuous single shot for the length of the song.

What I thought was amazing was that there aren`t any cuts, can you imagine how long that took to get it right?

No, you don`t usually make comments as that`s apparently your first one, haha! This was a pretty cool clip, I really most like the aesthetic feeling from the filming and the song more than the actual crutch-dancing. Though he was awesome, but as Pabasa said, some people may actually take offence, cause it`s certainly not a funny game for most that really need them.

Excellent video! Truly well made. My favourite parts were the skating one (absolutely awesome) and the finale. Slick moves! 4/4!

I wonder if people who really are in crutches would take offense?

i actually know where this came from :) i was watching a show on discovery channel the other day of this guy who has a degenerative hip disease so he had to be on crutches but he loved dancing and skateboarding so he got those special round crutches and developed some realy cool dancing with crutches and then he got asked to be in cirq de solei..but he didnt want to damage his hips by doing like 10 shows a week so he trained people up with his kind of dancing

:) it was cool
& this is cool :)

I nominate him for America`s got Talent
