I think this is the best video I have seen for quiet a while. At least he has a real sense of humor. Not like this pathetic hippie of Steve Jobs who would really benefit from getting laid someday.

Long live The Bill!

Apparently the car was a Ford Focus, or something like that. The point was that it was one of the latest cars that has some Microsoft technology in it for navigation or choosing music tracks. So it`s an attempt to shine a bit of light on a Microsoft product.

And this video was shown as part of Bill Gates` keynote address at the Consumer Electronics Show. This was his last keynote at CES, so he did a kind of farewell thing. Apparently there are humor videos like this that are only shown internally to Microsoft. They decided to do this one up nice and let it be seen at the largest show around.

(This whole thing was all over the news recently. I`m a bit surprised by the comments of people who hadn`t heard of it.)

I just thought I`d be like all the other (place derogatory terms here) on I-A-B and point out:

Fake.

If I`m not mistaken, it looked like some kind of video made as a joke for CES 2008. Just a random guess, though.

Boring.

"maybe the humor is beyond you."

Yeah, whatever you say. Its OK if you laughed, even if no one else did. We`re not judging you.

Well, not to your face.

This was really sweet. I hate how everyone is so intent on bringing him down just because of his wealth. Look how far his invention has brought us all. He`s cool and this video was funny.

And thats a pretty impressive celeb list.

So, who will take his position?

Anyway, for everyone who`s like "who gives", he`s the richest man in the world and he technically invented the software you`re using right now. I mean, give some respect to the guy! He`s living after his 30-year job, I think he deserves some respect.

Bill Gates, you`ve done a good job in life, please, please don`t give up your next day job (full-time job at Microsoft`s foundation).

Bill Gates isn`t a materialistic prick...lol, I guess a lot of people don`t realize this.

Bill is actually a really nice guy that just cares about family and helping less fortunate people. He has, and still does, put billions into helping those who really need it.

Wow, so many people with one-track-minds! Just because he is rich he has to drive expensive cars and his friends are all bought?!

Most, if not all, of the people in this movie are involved with charities, which is probably how they met. As far as the car, Gates was always known for being humble about his fortune.

Oh and a few spots were funny.

Don`t for a second think this everything wasn`t elaborate here. Bill may own that car, but they used it for the sole reason of showing he`s just a "common man". To downplay himself, which was what it was all about, is an intelligent way of saying good-bye. I remember Bill Clinton doing it, and I would actually be surprised if Bush won`t do it.

Heh, I found it quite funny. It`s quite reminiscent of Celine Dion, ya know. Famous people like Bill Gates making a fool of themselves to an audience is always great to watch.

It`s amusing how he got so many famous people to join in. Money *can* buy you a damn lot of friends.
