hm... it`d be more humane to leave him alone, but if we DID civilize him, think about what we could learn about wolves. now we can take the perspective of someone who actually DOES live with wolves.

or we could just let him back out in the wild. maybe he`ll crossbreed with wolves.

ok maybe not

Why the hell do you guys think he should be left in the wild. Do you actualy want him to grow up, run around butt naked, end up screwing another wolf, and leave him with animals forever?! That`s just insane and it does not sound like a good idea.

i like the part where they comment that he has "really strong and sharp teeth"

thats the point to teeth. to be strong. and sharp. to cut things.

Crap I just watched "I am Legend" and now I come home to see a possible carrier of viruses is running around free... just waiting to bite any innocent victim and start the spread of the infection and end of the world...

I get really paranoid about things like this...

i say if they ever find him they should take him back to where they found him and let him live with is family. he`ll probably enjoy life much better if it`s the only life he`s ever known.

hes just as dangerous as a wolf (maybe less) and their not catching all wolves so they should just leave him alone

What`s weird about this is that they say somewhere on the page that things like this aren`t so unusual for them - they`re used to it. o.O;

f*cking scientists dont leave anything alone, as soon as they see something different they want to take it in to experiment, without a thought of whats good for the boy, also GeN_Ex, they didnt call him werewolf boy, they called him wolf boy, because he shows wolf traits and stuff, and i assume hes considered dangerous to other people because they wont leave him alone, and the poor boy`s just scared, and might attack someone because of this

How in the world did he survive with no fur?? That kind of stuff just boggles the mind.

I wonder what his view of humanity is like.

Or what would happen if he looked in a mirror and saw he was human.

Or what kind of things he would say if he learned a human language.

Or maybe he could`ve taught us to communicate with wolves.

Well, if he ran away, I suppose he liked it better with the wolves.

And who can blame him...?

I`m very glad he escaped. This idea that he "can learn" is not only ludricrous but also loathesome. Imposing modern "human" standards on someone this wild is completely inhumane. He needs to be left alone. Period.

"Such cases are not uncommon in Russia where there have been regular reports of `Mowgli` children abandoned by their parents who are cared for by animals."

*facepalms* Lovely...

^^^ I agree, lol.
I hope they don`t find him. And I hope he finds his wolf pack. If they try to "civilize" him, then they`ll just be making another unhappy human. If he wants to live outside, then LET HIM. Jeez...

They should leave him. I wish I could have been raised like that. Then I wouldn`t worry about trivial things like money and the future and all that crap. Just focus on killing sheep and whatnot.

Some people actually DO get raised by wolves or dogs... it`s a rare thing but it happened before. And Lupine`s right, he`ll probably totally be able to speak, the peak years for learning a language have passed.

At 10 he`ll never be able to fully learn human language...

Agreed with declan. How`d a ten year old, who`s been living in the wild with very little knowledge of humanity whatsoever, outsmart trained security guards? Either that or they have very bad security...

Why is it always wolves? What makes wolves such responsible parents to orphaned babies? And also, how are these wolves better at raising a kid better than alot of human parents?

Honestly, I think they should just let him live with the wolves. He`s obviously happy like that. Do you really think that anyone is helping him by poking and prodding him with needles? Even if they civilize him, he`s going to have one hell of a complex.

I hate it when they exaggerate these things. He`s not a frickin werewolf boy, he`s a boy whos been living with wolves. He`s not covered in hair and changes on a full moon.

^^^^I agree.

I like how his overgrown toenails (from a lack of clippers, obviously) are turned into claws.

Feral kids are he children of the future.

Just think about it.

Soon our kids will be devouring each other.

Weasel kids, lion kids, flamingo kids. It`ll be dratin awesome.

So dump I say! Dump your children in the woods and run free, knowing that they will live a happy life!

How irresponsible are they, losing the kid then saying he`s dangerous? Becasue he`s got a wolf-like behaviour?? wolves don`t attack people for no apparent reason and neither do little russian boys with bad toenails! sheesh!
