Oh no.... should`ve seen the AKappy2 coming....

You can`t duplicate the original. But uh, I`d only heard of one movie in this list, and that was Children of Men.

I don`t think I`m as impressed as I should be. Long track-shots are quite meh for me... sorry directors :(

You must be quite ignorant to all the effort that goes into filming one then.

Children of Men was a terribly stupid movie. Honestly.

And as for ignorant to all the effort that goes into filming. A monkey could work a camera. And that same monkey could direct, write a script and act in 3 or 4 roles in the movie. He would just need help from a monkey named John Williams for the musical score.

Anything that has anything to do with filmmaking is EASY and sickeningly over-rated.

I`m not denying making track-shots are difficult. But for me there`s no "wow that was awesome!".

It`s just "looks like a PITA to do" to me.

As a camera operator and film production student, I can speak for all camera operators everywhere when I say that getting long tracking shots like that is BLOODY HARD. You have to keep people positioned accurately in the frame using the rule of 3rds.

Very tricky, but totally worth it.

    Seriously...
    Children of Men sucked.
My girlfriend happens to own it and we tried watching it numerous times. Funny how such a great movie can induce coma. I don`t know how it ends but I am pretty sure about this. Black broad has 1st baby in 20 years. They do stuff to get her to escape, a few people die, she escapes and has a baby.

Now do they solve the infertility? Because they don`t, that kid will have a VERY VERY lonely 20 years at the end of his life.

And for everyone drooling semen over a lame prolonged shot...plzdiekthxz.

"It`s one thing to be able to do it, and it`s something entirely different to do it WELL. Come back and whine about it after YOU have written, directed, filmed, acted, and composed for an award-winning big-budget film."

I am pretty sure the GREATEST movies ever made... we all made in high school. No editing, sometimes using the pause button, everything done in one take... And it`s always funny.

I heard they Film "24" in one single take to keep the "real-time" theme accurate hahahahahahahahahahahah
