There is no way in f*ck this is 30 FPS. Fifteen, tops. I make movies in 7-8 fps, and it looks about as good as this.Professional animators, Disney, Pixar and the gang usually animate at around 24-28 PFS, since that`s standard for motion picture, and I seriously doubt this guy surpasses their framerate. It`s just unneccesary.
(Hehe. I ranted! :D)
Althouh i give him one star for the creative use of the Paper mario sprite on a hand drawn animation.
ur a good man AKappy^^^
it would have taken much less time on a computer
I`m getting really sick of all Mario things on the internet.
But 6 weeks?
And not enough friends.
I am currently doing coursework on stop motion animation (literally a class on doing flickbooks, and things like this) and it takes longer than it looks.
This is probably about 30fps (I assume, due to the smoothness), so 30FPSx60seconds = about 1800 frames in this (this is a very rough estimate).
So think about how long that took to get 1800(ish) frames, and how subtly you characters would have to move every time, just to get the desired effect
Although, if he doesn`t have a life... Then thats just pathetic.
If it took him six weeks, perhaps he does in fact have a life, and used most of that time to sleep, go to work, and spend time with his wife/kids/girlfriend/boyfriend. For any normal person that makes an internet video, though, this should have taken maybe three hours.
hollyl - did the flying pig actually fly? :O
THEN i may have been impressed :)
I did these in school out of play dough , it took ages cause I did a flying pig (lol).
i hate mario anyway, without it nintendo would officially have no games. (lol)
Its amazing someone could draw so much stuff over and over again but.... why on mario? its poop.
Oh and when you jumped on the turtle thing it didnt explode, that really pissed me off.
oh and ^^^AKappy^^^, we need more people like you >.<
