Most of those songs aren`t whiney.

Have you even heard `One day women will all become monsters`?

It`s not whiney at all, trust me.

Can I remind everyone that `emo` means emo-core...meaning emotional hardcore.

`Emo` music was around long before `emo` people.

Do your research.

This is horrible. EMO`S DON`T HAVE TO CUT!
I hope you all know that EMO is a style of music and a way of living. it`s a subculture.

So seriously stop giving us a hard time!

I don`t cut and i`m classified as "emo" so think twice before posting this steryotypical poo.

The quote "The difference between medcine and poison is the dose" is originally from Paracelsus, a medieval alchemist and doctor. So: Neither Shakespeare nor Emo-Song.

Ah, and we`re back to the age old debate. Which came first, Shakespeare or Emo? I`m voting that Shakespeare was emo. It would explain A LOT! :)

100% - Kind of easy, as all of the people who pretended to know Shakespeare would have also known.

Shakespeare was written in iambic pentameter, which means that if there weren`t 10 alternately emphatic syllables in the line, it wasn`t Shakespeare.

Well, at least there`s finally a site with a somewhat accurate history of the genre, even though they forgot Sunny Day Real Estate.
The `todays emo band` list was off, though.

100points, 67%. I lose. :[

Before now I didn`t know there were emo bands, but I suppose its only logical. Hopefully one day I can get into an argument with one of these backward peoples.
