The music sucked, but then again, VW sucks, so it isn`t a surprising match.

I was at the car show and this song wasn`t playing. The song at the beginning of HOUSE was playing. It was pretty impressive though. When the lights came on, it was just a white foam mock-up. I was amazed because I thought some of the reflections were real, but it was all projected. I saw about 5 projectors, above, in front of, to both sides of the car and one behind the audience and one I`m assuming that there was one behind the wall. And this video is just a choppy version of what really happened. In the show they projected what the car would look like in different colors, they changed the backgrounds to more realistic settings, and at one part put projected people inside it who waved to the audience. It was pretty cramped in the room.

that was pretty cool

pity about the crappy camera work though, and the car probably cant move, it`d have to be a prop for the projections to look right, and if you think this overblown for a poor car then you should avoid marketing conventions, flamboyance and decadence is the primary form of advertising at an event, they leave the real show of the cas ability to the car magazines and show that will actually use the things to get their point across

The presentation? Awesome.

The car? Way too boring to deserve that kind of show.

I`m glad the car can work that well with a light show, because, all it`s going to be doing is sitting in dark garages from the looks of it.

Nice. I bet the people that put all the effort into it got shafted though... that would have taken F*&n ages to put together.

Oh, and techno kicks it. Nice.

Volkswagen is german... Techno music, gothic music or polka..
Americans unveil their new Ford trucks with Bob Seger and Neil Diamond...
I wish they used polka....

So the car isn`t moving, it`s just projecting those images and making it look like it`s moving? Yea, I`m sure that will help it`s selling factor...

I couldn`t stop taking ecstasy and waving glow-sticks around for long enough to actually watch the video.
