kinda makes you re-think the whole..engery conserve thing. to save the beautiful [round] earth.
I feel better now=)Amazing.drat I wish I could go up there :`(
And uhh CANADARM! yea represent!
Your link made me gag. these people believe that Austria is a hole in the ground, the Earth flies upward at the speed of light. They believe there is an ice wall and that Nasa is a myth. Really.
(although, they would make a better U.S. president than Bush. Just kidding. Then there would be a war on Nasa.
The others look awesome though.
oh no! there`s the earth, i`m gonna falllll!!!!!!*burns up in atmosphere*
Either way, I want to go into space before I die.
And that earth is flat forum thing is full of lunatics who talk about how satelites are brainwashing us and alien sightings .
while i have no major convictions ufos dont exist blah blah blah . they are still all idiots
I was gonna go to the Air Force Academy to major in aerospace engineering, but then I slacked off too much....
The reason you can`t see the stars is the same reason you can`t see them from the earth (in photos). Though it does "filter" it a bit, the atmosphere isn`t "blocking the light" as much as it distorts it (twinkle effect). The reason they aren`t visible has to do with the amount of light in the foreground. Sort of like the dark shadows created in photos taken with a flash. See those visors on the space suites? With no "filter" of the atmosphere, "space" can be very bright (or dark). Think about walking outside in full sun from a dark room. The camera is having to adjust for the relative brightness. ((Without going into exposure, aperture(sp?), etc.))
Nice pictures. I used to want to be an astronaut, until I realized I was afraid of flying, and not quite smart enough...
Plus hate to be all "conspiracy" (no I don`t <g>) but where are the stars in the black sky. . .no atmosphere to block the light and with the amazing picture quality. . .this is one detail I would like to have seen.
ANYway, these photos are very frikkin` cool.
The tv show is out to make money.
