Dumb asses there is no AIR coming out of a drain, it has a P trap filled with water! This is to prevent FLAMMABLE and stinky gas from coming into your house!

What the heck? They`re going to give a dog an award for valor for saving it`s own skin. It is pretty clever, but come on.

sorry to be so parsimonious, but the dog wasnt smart. it was running panicked through the house and smelled the fresh air in the bathtub.

Why not just use a toilet snorkel?

Well i`ve actually seen one of those. Works fine if you want to breath sewergas.

Maybe he walked around a already closed curtain, and the family just went with the story.

Well, LordJonathan, I agree that the dog probably smelled the fresh air, and that`s how he knew where to go, etc...

But how did he close the shower curtain, if he wasn`t smart?

The dog didn`t know to do that. It jumped in the tub because it was scared. We all know how good dogs sense of smell is and it smelled fresh air coming from the drain.
