Oh and by the way v_wilkes85,

No-one here has even mentioned the term "WHITE TRASH" except you. Check back again. You introduced that term yourself, about, oh, 5 posts ago.

I`m assuming you`re either a troll or a retard. Either way, I`ll avoid responding to you in future.

Wanker.

It is not the word that insults but tha afilliated emotions, with that word, if a culture or group of people does not like being cauled a certain word, one ought to respect that.

"WHAT THE drat IS WRONG WITH SAYING "OH MY JESUS LORD"?! I KNOW MOST OF YOU PEOPLE ARE ATHIESTS, BUT HOW DOES IT AFFECT YOU SEE A VIDEO OF A PERSON YOU NEVER MET AND NEVER WILL MEET SAY "OH MY JESUS LORD"? You athiests all hate it when someone mentions Jesus, or the Bible, even though you all say "Oh my God" all the time. HEY IF YOU DON`T BELIEVE IT, DON`T SAY IT!!!!"

Although you do have a point that there are *some* athiests on the comments that will be a little fanatical with their athiesim- I don`t know if every comment made about the "oh my jesus lord" phrase was hate filled.
That phrase that stood out the most in the video. You don`t hear that particular phrase every day- and he just screamed it right at the end.
It was kind of funny, even.
But MAYBE some of the people commenting on it were thinking something other than, "damn christians, I`ll teach them to call out to their savior! feel my wrath as I quote you!&qu

haha...guys just strollin along "Yeah...there`s a tornado behind me, do you have the tea on?"

My step-dad lived somewhere near tornado alley. He said tornadoes were so common, they would go by and people would be in their front yard mowing their lawn. lol. I found that interesting.

I feel terrible for anyone who gets caught in one of these.

But wtf with the question, "do you need help?!" No, smartie, maybe she wants to hang out in her rubble for a while.

I also live in Alabama, we get lots of tornado`s here across central Alabama. I lived right beside a town that got destroyed by one, Oak Grove, AL. There were miles of houses that were demolished and many people lost their life. I have to admit, now just the sound of thunder scares me.

>>It`s like every 6 months you have to build your house again.<<
>>Thank God I`m in New York<<

Ok,I grew up in Kansas City, and I will set your children straight!

Number one, before I start lemme say the tornado in that video was a baby. Not strong at all... there are some killer tornadoes which are (really! look it up) a mile across and there would be no way in hell to get that close to one of them.

Number two... most tornadoes only destroy small patches of land. The odds of someone`s home being destroyed by one, even in "tornado alley" are teensy, and I`ve never heard of someone`s home being mowed down twice by tornadoes.

Three, tornadoes happen in EVERY STATE. Florida actually has the biggest number of tornadoes, but they are usually weak, so, no, you`re NOT safe if you live in NY.

In her defense Alabama is not Tornado Alley, but they do get a pooload of tornadoes in Mobile and Baldwin County, especially a little area called Saraland for some reason.

I still don`t get why the hell anyone lives in these areas where natural disasters are an everyday occurrence? It`s like every 6 months you have to build your house again. After the first time something like this happens I`d pack up and move the hell away. And didn`t anyone every learn something from the 3 Little Pigs. Don`t build your house out of straw and sticks.

In the begining of the video, when someone is walking towards the house and the tornado is visible in the background, I just kept thinking "if there was ever a time to move your ass faster than a casual stroll, the time would be now, you dolt."

I SO THOUGHT THE SAME EXACT THING!

I was in the Enterprise Highschool tornado 4th hall and along with some of ROTC one of the first responders to the event, helping uncover people and opening up 3rd hall with automechanics jacks and weight bars. I know how it feels.
1. How are you going to outrun a tornado?
2. The one that hit us was a strong as it could get and tore the concrete roof and walls up and carried some of it off, now how is your average stone building going to stop this?
3. Until you are actually in the middle of one of these and can feel the shrapnal from what was the roof hiting your head and back you can`t really know who your gonna react.

Lol, there are honestly "scientific studies" so prove that living in a stone house is superior to living in a wooden house?
Hahahahahahaha...dear lord, who spent MONEY on that?

Male 12,138
Tornados might rip through everything, including brick. But given the choice I`d rather be in a brick/stone building held together by cement and mortar than a prefab clapboard wooden house held together by nails.

There`s even scientific studies to prove it (I refer you the excellent thesis by B.B. Wolf, A. Pig et al, 2006)

Toodlepuff,
What materials do you think should be used that are tornado proof? America, i vote we all dig holes and live underground.

Lol clever-chan. "safe projectile". isn`t that an oxymoron? haha, I know what you mean.
And to ToodlePuff: Tornadoes rip through everything. Including stone and brick.

ToodlePuff: As opposed to what? Bricks? I`ll forgive you for living in Europe and not knowing but it`s not so much the materials of the house as it is the construction. A tornado tears apart wood and brick houses just the same. Personally I feel that wood would be a safer projectile than Bricks.

Ummm, that was crap. You couldn`t have even told what it was if they hadn`t told you so in the description. OK, you`re not going to be concentrating too hard on camera technique under the circumstances, but honestly, was it really worth uploading? Anyway, call that a tornado? In Australia, we have new canyons and rivers after every tornado...

That was some amazing footage. What I don`t understand is why people were still in their houses. Don`t they have early detection systems in Kansas? I live in Iowa and if there`s a possibility of a tornado, sirens are going off and police are patrolling the streets urging people to move to a safe place.
