OMG WE R SOOOO STUPID.... becides well all die of global warming MILLIONS of years before the sun becomes a red giant if we keep on poulluting the Earth. I was under the impression that the Pacific Ocean would be the one to disappear as it has more trenches than the Atlantic. Maybe I just don`t remember my elementary/middle school science book correctly.

While it`s a very accepted estimate that America will fall in under ten years, just imagine how long it would take the rest of the world. They will die without America`s import/export of pornography and nuclear weapons.

Note to self:

Do not live for 3 billion years.

Decent, but simple. I guess it wouldn`t work to explain everything in detail, including what was left out though.

Interesting how so many people were so heavily affected by it. Thought-provoking perhaps? ;-)

Anyway, I guarantee that humans will not exist past 10 million years at the very very very most if everything goes right. It is very, or even more likely that humans will not last past a few thousand or few hundred years. For one thing, vertebrates regularly go extinct in a couple million years. Also, I`m quite positive that humans are stuck on Earth. We may explore and inhabit other planets for research purposes, but the inhabitation of hostile planets on a large scale is logistically unreasonable. No "Star Trek" future is coming. We will live on Earth, progress greatly on Earth, and die out on Earth.

Personally, I hope humans do not last through the millennium, but if I must I will settle with the knowledge that humans are stranded on Earth and will die out soon

Wow. We are going in reverse. The continents were one huge land mass and they seperated into the current earth. I think I`ll make a video claiming all kinds of crap that no one can prove. I`ll be famous!!

the way i see it, the human race could easily out surpass the next million years, so long as we don`t blow ourselves to hell.
what we gotta fix:
1. pointless disputes between religion; wars.
2. and find a way to destroy any meteor that might head our way.

other then that i don`t see what could stop us.

And we care WHY?
You`ll probably never reach 60 years of age. Why worry about the billions of years in the future? Sure it`s cool and all, but why blame ourselves? I`m sick of all the global warming crap. I don`t really care what happens to this planet, or universe since I won`t be around to see it.

Act now!
Vote Kerry 2004!

I used to think about this stuff and it would keep me from falling asleep at night.
Damn the universe, damn the universe to hell!
Bwahahahahahaha!!

But, on a more serious note, I would really like to see that Humans outlast the dinosaurs, who had the brains, purportedly, the size of acorns, and somehow lasted a few hundred million years, probably by just humping a lot. But nooo, with Humans, humping a lot, and making a lot of babies, who will in turn hump a lot, is bad! Boo! The world needs reform.

Okay, that wasn`t serious at all. Nevermind.
