not really "aww" worthy until day 36, although the way they were fed made me laugh.
it`s like the mother was stabbing their throats XD
And yes I know it`s the "beauty of nature" etc., and I appreciate that to some extent, but that just amused me.

EVERYONE watching this was cheering for the second bird.

*tear* They grow up so fast...

And yes, the whole mommas beak down the throat looked like she was trying to kill them.

Oh and I lol`d at Snoogans comment:
"*remembers the good old days when mom would puke up breakfast for me*"

I like how the one that was left behind was looking at his sibling and seemed to be thinking "Hey, where are you going?"

Ryan, it`s best someone who is NOT an idiot to call someone else on being one.

It`s "You`re an idiot".

But I do agree with what you said. *smiles*

Actually, I didn`t write that description and yes, I think it sucked, too. I literally wrote: "Their nests are the size of walnut shells, their eggs the size of peas."

Yes, very cool little birds. I have honeysuckle in my backyard and they fly in to drink from it in the morning.

the description sucks..

lol when it was shoving the food down the baby throats i was like scared. like how are they not bleeding or something. its like the equivalent of shoving a sword down a baby`s throat.

It freaked me out a bit to see the parent shove its beak down the throat of the offspring; kinda looked like it was trying to impale them or something. :-/

Awww...

They`re such precious little things. My grandmother used to raise a pair of hummingbirds that fell out of their next; the mother had rejected them for whatever reason. They got to the day they left and flew off, and come back every year now to lay their eggs.

that was awesome. Not everyone gets to see what this is like in real life- and thanks for the video! For a second or two I thought the one left wouldn`t make it, so happy to see that it did!
