I think it`s treason to say "Altogether now!" during a rock and roll song. With the notable exception of the Beatles.

Lunatics: Why, Led Zeppelin of course.
Me: Let`s keep it that way, shall we?

Rolf Harris, artist and after his dubious career as a singer became a bit player in an animal torture show called animal hospital in the UK and i quote `poor timmy the kitten, we had to put him down cos no one wanted him`.... even his art sucked a$$

Er.... this guy (Rolf Harris) although an Aussie has lived and worked in UK for around 50 years now an is a national institution. The song was SUPPOSED to be a bit naff... it wasn`t really meant to be a serious musical statement.

For the record, the instruments(?) he used were a "wobble board" (his invention) and a "Didgeridoo", an Australian Aboriginal musical instrument.

Rolf did host "Animal Hospital" on BBC TV for some years but now he devotes time more to his art.

Here`s his site:-

http://www.rolfharris.com/

Hope this helps.

Wow, so many things wrong. Firstly, I can`t believe there are people who haven`t heard of Rolf Harris! Secondly, it`s a light hearted parody, you`re supposed to laugh at the old man making a fool of himself. And finally....did anyone else find the didjeridu bit cool? Seriously, Rolf rocked the hell out of that instrument.

Oh and for all of you who love/hate Rolf, go find the song "Why won`t Rolf Harris just f*** off and die" by Kevin `Bloody` Williams on your P2P programs. You`ll love it.

I cringe at the thought of those irate posters, who, in their immense naivite believes this to be taken at face value.
It`s a loving parody, it`s from an oz tv show called "The Money or The Gun".
They did more than twenty different versions of the song. A beatles version, an Elvis version, a The Doors version etc. etc.
Jolly good fun.
