I call it "pop," and I live in the Midwest.Notice most of the people saying pop have Midwest US under their name?
LoL! Seriously? Dude, you have got to be kidding! :D (if not, learn to use your own original language correctly)
And my opinion? Neither. I speak finnish and I don`t drink those teeth rotting, brain sugaring bastards. Just wanted to point out the obvious.
In Canada, I would say that most people say Pop, except for old people.. they call them soft drinks :-).
Anyway, what flavor is coke? I mean we have grape pop, cherry pop, lemon-lime pop, orange pop....but what flavor is a coke????
jk, I call it soda
good old wikipedia has an entire page on soft drink naming conventions
Or Fizzy drinks in general we call them soft drinks.
I dont think you know what north is.
Thats how it is here too. I always just ask for a coke and then they say Pepsi alright? and then im like yeah.
LOL this one time they asked me what I wanted and I was like
"Pepsi""Pepsi alright?""ummm yea...."
Cause they are so used to people asking for Coke.usually the conversation goes like this: "i want a coke" "pepsi alright?" "yeah"
this was very accurate.
well i bet people are annoyed you were born.hahahahapop.pop.
I guess we`re pretty old fashioned when it comes to soft drinks lol.
usually the conversation goes like this: "i want a coke" "pepsi alright?" "yeah"
but if youre at a restaurant, its mostly called it by name [coke/pepsi,mountain dew, sprite, root beer]
(Soda, for you non-Bostonians)
CALL IT FIZZY!!
jake: Would you like a beer?tom: Nah, Im not in the mood, have you any minerals?jake: yea, we`ve coke and 7up.
Anyways, I call it soda. I always wondered how people(like waitresses or whatever) would get a customers order right since they apparently say "Coke" for everything. I mean how the drat would the person taking their order know what kind of soda they actually wanted?
In the UK it`s always Pop or Fizzy Drink, never soda, as soda means like soda water...
But there are people who call pop "Coke" regardless of the type? That`s bizzare, marketing must love them!
"GET WITH THE TIMES"
oh yeah the name.. dr pepper..fanta..tango etc
whats mountain dew??
the way i see it,more ppl in the north call it pop, and more south calls it soda
Or the name of the product if I`m being specific.
I know it by the name pop but I don`t use it
"What kind of coke sir?"
I think the south sucks.
but if i am talking about any fizzy drink in general i call it a soft drink
