@Spiffy17. Rather 20 million obese kids that can actually use their brain instead of 20 million shallow kids whose humor doesn`t go beyond farting.

"I`m sorry for the generalization, but I`m the kind of guy who is fed up with Politically Correctness, so I tend to say before I think. I apologize."

Understood. I know there`s a helluva lot of parents that label their kids as ADD in order to deflect the blame from teachers. It`s a shame because they give us a terrible rep. Some schools won`t even accept anyone that claims to be ADD because they don`t want to deal with the hassle.

ya ADD and stuff is a disease treated with meds not videogames... also this dosent make us fat or lazy, thats like saying, the internet is a terrible thing because it can give us all the world news in a few clicks, while we really should be going out and getting newspapers...and also you can`t stop it from happening so drat off.

"According to that video, it say that the company will only price the device at $15... and it might be available to the general public by the end of next year!"

Wow, if that`s true then everyone and their grandma will buy one. It`ll be the hottest selling toy of all time.

"ADHD will be virtually non existent"

No it won`t. Believe it or not, there are more than a few people out there like myself that were genuinely born with ADD or ADHD, and no amount of therapy or meds can get rid of it. It isn`t simply a disease that is inherited by kids that play xbox 360 all day.

im not gonna read 4 pages of posts but it reminds me of back to the future part II where marty goes into "7-11" and there is a shooting video game and he shows these kids how to use the gun, and they say "you have to use your hands???? thats for sissies" or something like that

actually to the people saying this makes you more lazy, this exercises your mind more than other things. Given it does reduce the hand-eye coordination but people need to get out and do sports anyway.

This has been around for a bit, but it`s usually a device put directly INTO the head like a bolt containing a computer. This is just the more `non intrusive` way.

I so want that.

Pretty soon, we`ll get to the point where we buy one of those at Radio Shack, plug it into our USB port, and control our computer.

What I`d really like to see, though, is a way to replace the keyboard. I`ve seen one two many shorthand-using preteens who don`t realize the word "you" has a Y and an O in it.

Actually, come to think of it, they`ve had this for years. Some handicapped people have been using this to spell out words. Something about the eye focusing for so long on a particular spot on a screen, the computer is able to tell which letter the person is looking at, and they are able to spell words and communicate with people.

All of this is reminding me of H.G. Wells` "The Time Machine". We are slowly becoming the pink people depending upon technology to do our thinking for us. And it will progress until we are nothing but mere cattle.

Think about this, what if an internal computer was put inside of an object or objects and you just wore a headset to control it. Hoverboard, with your mind. Say goodbye to gas prices.

yes thats HL2, probably not garry`s mod tho. mod is probably developed by the team that made the headset. hence the lack of GGun, or the rest of the crap garry`s mod throws up. Looks awsome tho, saw it in earlier phases and it was big and clunky..cant believe they got it headset size. ^_^
