I love Coca-Cola...pepsi says they have more cola taste, but Coke was the first cola, so they actually define cola taste. They could put apple juice in the cans, and it would still be cola taste, because they have the right to say what cola tastes like. Pepsi does not.

Well, if people with epilepsy decide to rebel and try to kill everyone, we now have the ultimate weapon.

I think what we`re mostly missing is the word FIRST. Hyposurface is a pioneer in moving display systems... with years of manipulation this could actually be something... Sure, it`s glitchy and impractical right now but what we see as impractical now we would see as impossible in the future. Ex: floating paper bags in orville`s time were useless but eventually gave rise to airships and blimps, something that would be considered impossible in their time.
C`mon people open your minds.

"Only reason coke are using it (IMO) is because of the "wow" (and hence, `oh wow.. hey, coke!`) factor"

Too right...advertising at its finest. If you`re gonna advertise something, be unique. No matter how much it costs.

In fact, I had a glass of coke earlier, when normally I cant stand the stuff. Subliminal messaging? Bring out the tin-foil hats!!

I agree with GolfRocks and ConverseUK

This is too much, not interesting, boring, and it seems like it would cost a lot.

converseUK - at the moment, the technology for dynamic holography doesnt exist, but you`re right - this is just someone showing off :)

The rotating strip signs can be driven by a single motor (or maybe 2 motors, top and bottom)
The display in this video would need thousands of actuators for a hign quality image.
It`s just not worth it...It`s clever, but not worth it, you could create the same effect with holographics and computer graphics.

they make billboards that have like..3 different signs on them. they rotate to show the next sign. i`m pretty sure that counts as a display system that moves...

I don`t really like it...theres way too much to go wrong.

Each little tile needs to be moved, and thats a hell of a lotta` motors/actuators.

Why make this when you can make it digital? SOmeone just showing off I think.

Aw, I thought it`d be like those screens in Minority Report, where you move the screens without touching them. Still cool.

that was sweet but i would think it would be really high maintenance.

I`m thinking someone in the practice of herbal medicine. Or drugs.

But nice implementation with the coca-cola sign.
