^^I`m guessing if he had a serious phone call he would have left the room and gone somewhere more private. He wouldn`t be sitting there, still enjoying the performance with a smile on his face.

Guy on phone: "Excuse me, can I please have some privacy?"

Musician: "NO! You are in PUBLIC! In fact, your PRIVACY is invading my PUBLIC!"

There aren`t many things in the world that are more irritating than a person who has to just talk away on their cellphone during a performance. Whether you paid to see a group or not, if you`re sitting at an area where a band/quartet/choir are performing and watching the show, have some damn courtesy and don`t talk on your cellphone.

I can`t even count how many times some jerk in the audience left his/her cellphone on during one of our performances. Luckily, only a select few of them actually talked on it.

ahh, thats nice.
when i first saw it i figured a musician would make the connection from bow -> bow and arrow.
but i like that better.

I was there!!!
I was there in Covent Garden when those people were performing that exact thing! And I do remember them doing that plus several other tricks on people while they were playing. I was just next to the top of the stairs there. Unfortunately, you can`t really see me...

They were playing the overture from the opera "Carmen" by Bizet, if anyone was wondering. It`s a classic. : )

I would`ve stayed on my cellphone just to be a jerk. If I paid to see a musician live, I believe it is my right to talk on my cellphone whenever I please lol
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Spoken like a true dick. Ever think about not talking on your cellphone out of consideration of the people around you who also paid the same money that you did? People like you make it so drating unbearable to go to the movies nowadays.
Convent Garden is cool, but now, all the street performers go to the South Bank near the London Eye. I swear, you can`t move for living statues, buskers, contortionists and jugglers.
Cool clip though.. :-)
tgirl149: I saw the Blue Man Group too, and we had late people as well. It was hilarious. Big spotlight on them, putting them up on the screen, with the singing of "You`re laaaaate!"
Beng_uk i was just about to say that!!! covent garden is annoyingly crowded though and some of the living statues are seriously poorly done. I saw one guy that had silver hands.....that was it, he just stood there with his hands painted silver and asked for money!
Thankfully your wrong, this was shot at Covent garden London. The performers there are known for these sorta tricks. If your visiting London its always worth a visit as there will be 5-8 performances going on at the same time in the `garden`.
No, I did. It`s set up for a planted actor to do the mobile phone, so that they can go over and play at him, the music is also perfectly timed for them if you listen when they start, and end etc.
I find the best place to go in Covent Garden isn`t in the pit where the chairs are, but over by the bank. That`s where the "noisy" street performers go. There are all kinds of acrobats and comedians there, pretty cool.
And lol Zerocyde, there are people in my class at school who can`t go ONE HOUR without texting. What could POSSIBLY be so important? Oh wait. You were talking about your boyfriend. Well clearly that`s EXTREMELY important.
