BUT my doctor told me I`m big-boned, and a lot of me is muscle... so the government is WRONG! The doctor says I`m 10 pounds overweight as far as FAT goes....
I think a lot of people are used to seeing people that are a bit overweight and its so commonplace that people dont notice it anymore. But even so, BMI tests are a load of crap. They don`t factor in body fat percentage or how you are built, or how much muscle you have or anything.
And, there`s nothing wrong with being mildly overweight as long as you are healthy.
Just to make myself clear, NO FAT PERSON WITH ANY SENSE BLAMES FOOD OR ANYTHING ELSE. Holy F*CK it pisses me off when people say that. >-( I`m fat, and it`s my own damned fault.
Then I added a 100 pounds and they finally conceded I might have issues...yea, I might be dead if I weighed that much.
for some reason no matter what i eat nothin goes to my bones..
It`s not an opinion or a judgment call,if it says you`re overweight (not the same thing as "too much fat")than you are.
I HAVE HEAVEY BONES!!! I`M 6` AND 195LBS.
2) Weight goals are unrealistic. "Overweight" isn`t really overweight. Supposedly, you only start having health risks at 30 BMI.
3) You shouldn`t have to have a meter or calculator to tell if you are overweight or obese, or too skinny. Then again, some people live in denial. If you can`t see your feet, it is likely you are overweight.

I`m 5`2" and 110, which is apparently government approved...but why do I care what they think? o_O
The sad part is, I`m almost all muscle.
So the scale doesnt mean anything really, you cant figure out if youre too fat or not, since ppl are getting fatter and fatter

I eat lunch at McDonalds every day and I`m government approved. 5`7" 126 lbs.
its because of the muscle that they cant take in to consideration
But I forgot how tall I am so 1 inch difference puts me in average or overweight.
And tom Cruise is shorter than me, and 40 pounds heavier and just to call bull on this test. If you put in 5`8" and 600 pounds. It tells you you`re obese like Matt Leblanc. Apparently Matt has put on almost 400 pounds since friends.

On a more serious note, I`m "normal" based on a quick guess.

No but really, I had a body fat test done, and it`s 15%. So oooo o o o oooo yeah.
Heh...It`s funny when it says "Oh dear god. You`ve got issues" when you put 999 into it.
Anyway, I`m in the Government Approved section.
