...and 13 years old betches!!!
crap i was born in ohio and learned every one of those questions in social studies class 2 years ago. apparently i forgot some answers...
only got the ones about the bill of rights etc cos i just studied it at uni ^^
Maybe I`m just dumb or something.
and btw whats with "New Zeland" on the original 13 colonies question xD is anyone really that stupid?
19. What INS form is used to "apply" to become a naturalized citizen? Form N-200 "Petition for Naturalization" >>N-400 "Application for Naturalization"<< Social Security card FD-258
Only one of the answers had "Application" in it, hence, the right answer.
And womanfoo, I like your style!
Oops on one of the ammendment questions and supreme court questions
The naturalization form one was unfair, unless you really were applying lol
Is it stupid to rant on the internet? Oh, well. :)
Not ALL of you, just 51%
No, it`s just nice to have immigrants that can speak english fluently and have them apreciate what our ancestors wen`t through to make this country. =/. I wish more teens weren`t like this lol. Also Vindicate, honostly, most of the people that took this test and scored low are in they`re teens. I myself am on the lower part of it and haven`t studied American History as of yet, and I scored a 55%. I`d like to think that isnt terribly bad.
and the guy who said that he was dumb, blame bush, NO i blame you for being stupid. its not the president`s fault that you are stupid, its because youre lazy.
oh btw, 100%, i agree that technically the president CAN declare war, but it still requires congress approval...and for all you people who blame bush for the war in iraq, CONGRESS declared that war...liberal pieces of poo.
jus guessed n clicked
I said the answer was searching for gold on that question. o.oI WANT A REFUND
Yay, I suck!
How the hell should I know the Immigration form?I`m already a citizen.
But if you couldn`t answer that one, haha, that would give it away, huh?
YOU`RE ILLEGAL! WITCH HUNT! YOU are what is wrong with America today. Those damn immigrants! <snark>
i got 90%
Oh yeah thanks to my 8th grade history teacher she actually gave us the same test then we went over but ours had a lot more questions on it then she swore us in if we passed it was fun.
Not that many know this since the early settlements aren`t well kept historical sites. In fact, these sites were lost until people started excavating them.
The only one I didn`t know was the naturalization form one.
USA! USA! USA!
I, as a natural born citizen, know nothing about what form you need to fill out for naturalization. I felt that question wasn`t really fair. Also,I missed the Patrick Henry one.
90%... featherstorm, which form to use is ridiculous... I can`t believe it`s on the exam. Seriously?
Imagine hoping for a better fricking life and having to do a quiz to live there. America should try loosing some weight, that might reduce the population size a little bit...
*Shrugs* That was like taking an 8th grade History test.
btw i got a 95% (i missed the one about the requirements to become president)
same here :(
wow i suck. i dont pay attention in history anyway.
who cares about the constitution? It`s not like it is entirely applied today, is it?
This quiz should be required when you do your taxes... as an incentive, the higher your score, the less you would pay taxes.
Now, there`s incentive for getting off your ass and learning more about your country.
The form one was pretty easy from process of elimination!
I got 6 wrong: 3, 7, 8, 9, 16, and 20.
But if anyone feels bad remember, the introduction states that these are the harder questions. There`s 80 easier ones.
And what does it mean that you have to be `naturally-born in America` or something like that to be president. Does that mean I couldn`t be president? That`s gay.
I protest the fact that I missed #18. It only accepts “congress” as an answer while the fact is that the President can also declare war for a total of 90 days before having to get congressional approval. Some of the test is worded awkwardly too. The answer to #10 is “They represent the 13 original states” but technically it should say “the 13 original colonies”. Additionally, #12 asks “How many changes or amendments are there to The Constitution?”… so what do they want, the total number of amendments or the number of amendments (changes) added to The Constitution after the drafting of The Bill of Rights? Luckily “17” wasn’t an available answer or I might have gotten that one wrong due to the poor phrasing.
Much easier and you don`t even have to wonder if questions about human rights or freedom are cynical trick questions ..."
What the hell are you talking about. To all who are about to post comments such as these take a look at this quote and realize that idiocy disregards nationality.
Much easier and you don`t even have to wonder if questions about human rights or freedom are cynical trick questions ...
blame out president not the country.
Kinda sad that aliens can pass this but the people that live here have no idea what`s going on. Guess it just goes to show what a little dedication and studying can do. Must be why the school system is so effed up in America.
Citizens MUST know this. These are just basic facts on the overall system of the U.S. even if it seems like a history quiz when people don`t know these it takes away from our identity as a whole and is one of the main reasons Americans are viewed as retards by the rest of the world.
BAH! I took one with a hundred questions as my American History final this year and got a 95% how does this happen I don`t understand?!
Yay 8th grade History!!!! (Main time when you study our crazy government paper system!)
i wasnt planning on moving there anyways. :P
