You are ignorant, and a sad excuse for a human being... You thoroughly disgust me, as does anyone else who jumps on the "America Sucks" bandwagon.
P.S. I personally am an American jobless slob of a teenage dropout and spend many hours a day watching mindless zombie fodder on television I however prefer to watch the history channel (history international BTW)and other channels such as discovery and national geographic.
P.P.S. I believe Auckland is the largest NZ city if I am not mistaken (no I didn`t Google that you jerks I just watch tv too much)
What`s sad is that woman with the "Asia" thing though. What the hell? She forgot Antarctica. )-|
Chief Kung-fu `Skinny-eyes` Monchango. And he rules with an iron fist, or at least that`s what all the immigrants say.
And I once f*cked a geography, so anyone thinking about playing that racist card can go eat sh*t.
So, next time, whenever you feel the need to generalize a whole country based off of the actions of eight people, who were much smarter that you could ever be, by the way, please just remember to shut your face. I`m sure we would all agree, it would be for the best. Also, you can just remember how much better it is in the US than in your dank little hole you call your home. Get out of it and maybe, just maybe, you will realize that not everybody is perfect, especially you. Piss off.
As for the question of Australia`s place, I have seen "Australia", "Australasia" and "Oceania" used interchangably, although the first term seems to be most widely favoured these days. "Australasia" appears to be a predominently British term which is rarely referred to elsewhere. "Oceania" is more commonly used to group the Pacific Islands and occasionally New Zealand, but rarely the Commonwealth of Australia itself. Again, this goes beyond the strict definition of a continent, and the fact that there is no universal agreement underlines that fact that they are nothing mo
im thinking the british version was first. and some of the answers on that were just as bad as this.
oh and stop stealing our gameshows ;)
Americans are notoriously bad at geography, although it is a stereotype, as not all are that bad.
And, yes. Those are really stupid people.
Bullsh*t._________________________________________________yea its a continent kthxbye
oh and this is nothing new. There a videos worse than this making americans look dumb
Being American does not make you bad at geography, being an idiot does. Don`t pretend for five seconds that some other country (Canada, Australia, or any European country) does not contain idiots.
What is this proof of? That some morons got on Family Feud?
You people are pathetic. It is sad to think how being American makes someone hate you for no reason other than the fact that you are an American. What a drating farce. You say we stereotype and discriminate, yet it won`t take the average Canadian/European retard to say something on the lines of "amerikkkans r stuped lol".
Not all Canadians/Europeans are retarded (far from it), but enough find their way on the internet to make me puke.
I have met many kinds of Americans, and there is very little chance that I have managed to only meet the complete idiots of your nation. In fact, most of the Americans I have met are considered to be highly intelligent, but still, they know nothing about the world outside their own borders.Statistics show that the average American is very poor at geography. I am not saying that Americans are stupid, I am saying that they are very poorly educated in the fields of geography.Only 10% knew the name and location of more than 10 countries. Can`t blame the people, blame the government, and the chimp in a suit that runs the country.
I could state all the things that are wrong about the USA and its government, but that would take me a very long time to do. And as they say, "arguing on the internet is like competing in the Special Olympics. even if you win, you`re still retarded."So I will not argue any more.
If your interested read these for more of an explanation and some shocking statistics:
And what makes me kind of embarrassed to be American is how the rest of the countries are telling us that Australia is not a continent, but instead it`s called "Oceania".
In the US, we`re ALL taught that Australia is a continent and a country. Nobody knows about this Oceania stuff. Wow, we`re ALL ignorant. :-/
There isn`t a continent "Austrailia". The continent that Austrailia is in is referred to either as "Oceania" or "Australasia".
Scotland, England etc. are not independent countries, at least they`re not recognised by the EU or anything like that as independent countries. Great Britain is the union or England, Scotland and Wales. The United Kingdom (which is recognised by the EU) is short for "The United Kingdom or Great Britain and Northern Ireland".
Technically, the country isn`t Holland, it`s "The Netherlands". It is referred to as Holland sometimes, but in theory, this is incorrect. Holland is actually simply a region within the Netherlands.
Hope this helps your understanding :D
Of course it doesn`t. Take a look at your own sentence, it doesn`t make any sense. Maybe you were trying to be smart by using the same percentage as I did when arguing against me, it certainly did not work out very well considering how that sentence turned out.
But that must be because I`m just so gosh durn stupid.
...and that Australia was also a country.
What`s all this Oceania business?
Also, to the European chaps:Is U.K a country? Or is each part of it (Scotland, England, Wales) it`s own respective country? And then you make it even more difficult and throw in Great Britain.
Also is Holland a country or is the country I`m thinking of called the Netherlands?
But am I the only one to see that they spelled Australia as "Autralia" at least if your going to make funny of someone for being dumb, don`t spell stuff wrong!
Exactly what I was thinking but without the sarcastic part. xD
And for those who will actually read my post: Australia ISN`T a continent; the continent is called Oceania and it *contains* Australia AND New Zealand AND New Guinea.
Either that or there`s a lot of uneducated americans popping on TV game shows.
I`m moving to Canada...
Okay.....Your answer is stupid! It`s the Netherlands people....and the US is a country....shakes head....and they wonder why....nevermind...
This is what you could have won!!!!
A speedboat; British Gameshows kick Americas arse.
There was some statistic about Americans finding where their own country was, they failed.
I, myself, can name the location of pretty much any country/state/etc in the world except for Canada`s provinces and the US`s states.
One girl said 13 the next said 12
Didn`t need that to know that the US is self centered and doesn`t care about anything outside as long as the media doesn`t push their faces in it for some short term sensation.
Don`t lump the fifteen or so percent of us that aren`t idiots in with your generalizations please. :P
Geographical ignorance knows no nationality, Americans only show it off more cuz they get more television airtime.
And pat125, I think you`re right.
And America isn`t a country...
Amsterdam, yea, that might be confusing...what got me was "asia...yea, asia". oh...my...god
