Its only what I say whenever I see an advert about debt consolidation.... =D
Seriously, I don`t have a credit card myself but could probably use one for emergencies so I don`t find them to be as bad as some people might. I just know that there is always a cost attached to these sorta things.
I feel sorry for everyone that suffer because of people that do this.
this is satire people, bad acting was the point
My sister`s like that; she wants something, we tell her she can`t have it because we don`t have the money for it, and then she gets angry because she believes that somewhere deep in the laws of physics there is a rule that lets you buy stuff even if you don`t have money.
Steve Martin makes anything funny. It`s too bad most people won`t get the idea they are trying to give in this video.
and spitebaby, there is no way people would be able to live "fine" without money, unless of course you were willing to move to africa and live with one of those hunter and gatherers, they seem to live fine. the thing is that the world and the economy has grown so large and complex that no one person or family could possibly perform all the tasks needed to live comfortably, we need money to pay other people to perform the services that we are unable to do and vice versa
1. Come up with a good premise. Use this premise to create a vaguely amusing punchline.
2. Create a lead in to the punchline--the shorter the better. As soon as possible, insert the punchline. Then repeat this punchline over and over again until the skit ends: to encourage proper audience response, the punchline should get louder and more obnoxious every time it is said.
3. "Hilarity" points are assigned based on the number of times you manage to say the same thing over and over again before the audience stops laughing and boos you offstage.
4. For extra bonus points, make this skit part of a series, and air "new" versions of the same skit every six months, or whenever you run out of ideas.
Sigh...it *could* have been funny, y`know...
Yeah, those people moving into those new giant houses that come company tore down your local woods to build aren`t as rich as they seem.
P.S I`ve watched this clip so many times and I laugh so hard each time...
That`s stupid. It`s better to specialize. Play an rpg and you would learn that. It applies to real life as well. I would rather work with a team of varying skills then with a bunch of jack of all trades.
never got funny and they just kept saying the same crap over and over again
That wasent funny.
I couldn`t watch it because I can`t stand how horrible the acting is on SNL, but I was expecting the same thing.
Hey, let`s give pieces of paper to people for stuff so they can have pieces of paper for people for their stuff.
Why that`s genius and in no way can that take a turn for the worse..."
So whats the alternative then? Just let people have what they want? Then people wouldn`t do jobs because there`s no need for money.Either that or ration everybody to have the same things. Money is the only way.
Money`s a dumb concept.
Why that`s genius and in no way can that take a turn for the worse...
I was expecting the book to be expensive.
same darn concept. funny thing is, this really is a difficult concept for most people.
I`m... *sigh* If only it weren`t such a truth. Not only the concept of `credit` in America but the fact we need books to tell us pretty basic concepts.. oh god, I think someone moved my cheese, now what do I do!??! ...yeah.
yea you should all read that.
