I`m 13, so
I still don`t know em all.
Anyway, I know all of the sensible ones except `ziggurat` and `winnow`. And by sensible, I mean `not referring to US law, etc`, which I can`t possibly be expected to be aware of.Having said that, I am a language geek studing English at University with the aim of getting a PhD, so it might be a bit unrealistic to expect every highschool student to know 100% of those.

And I`m only a freshman.
Sad thing is that I had vocabulary tests in elementary school and then not again until 12th grade. In Livingston Parish the only words you need to know are "huntin`" and "y`all.":-P
But I`m only in eight grade!
acumen its like the lion king song! y`know, with pumba and that other one...
But I wouldn`t advise using them every day in conversation.
Isn`t zigurat a pokemon? So what is it supposed to mean in the list?
English/American spelling variation.
I used to know more... :\
uhhh. but realy. this link sucked.
A whole 20 of them, WOW ... meh.
I guess that gives me 91 if I`m not being strict , but how strict are we being? I said "Sanguine" meant "Bloody" and I was right, but it apparently also means happy/optimistic, red complexioned, and an iron oxide crayon of some sort.
If we`re being strict like that I only really get about 65.
But, then again, they are just saying that if you know these words and how to properly use them, probably means you have a strong command of the english language.
So thats 13*Hangs head in shame*
Why the hell do i want to know that?
Then again, I should`ve learned not to doubt these things. Also, why all the biological words? I would hardly say that knowing the definition of hemoglobin is the benchmark to a good command of the English language.
Fck that sht.
IMPEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAACCCCCHHHHHHHH! Boy, I love that word...and all high school grads SHOULD know it!
The other ones I know, though! :-P
Jejune, kowtow, enervate, and pecuniary.
