im in agree with oldkid, because one; there is NO space under those diesels for even the smallest person to hide under, and two; when the camera moved, it was on somewhat of an axis, and if there was a person there, you would`ve seen them.

But that was crazy man

They layed the camera in the tracks and moved it with wire or something

If he really was under there, he could easily learn flips.

"obviously was a big hole in the ground for the guy to turn round in otherwise it woulda been impossible to turn around that quick whilst lying so flat on the ground."

Yeah, go ahead and try cutting yourself a hole through those massive railroad ties and see how far you get. If you watch the video, there is no room for a person to lay or even squat in-between the rails. There is *no* human laying on the tracks.

"either that or it is an electronic tripod."

Is that the only other option? No one even tried to address my question about the fences. Face it, a bridge is the simplest explanation and, incidentally, the correct one.

"It was a remote controlled tripod, not a stick you idiots! Do you happen to see the solid ground under the tracks? There is no f***ing bridge!"

Wrong, bud, it is indeed a bridge. In the first view, that of the on-coming train, you`ll notice the landspace (on the right) is quite a bit distant and lower than the fence, suggesting the ground is lower than the track. Second, you`ll notice the lack of vegetation beneath the tracks in this same view, whereas in the same area, in the view of the back of the train, there is ample erect grass, even between the railroad ties. Third, perhaps you`d like to explain to me why there are fences on either side of the tracks in the `on-coming` view?
Finally, the camera is shaky and moves with much more ease than would a tripod. It would have to be an extremely small tripod so that its feet fit on the railroad ties and not between them, as there is no ground between them. I`m betting the camera is on a stick held in his hand.

Good God... five pages and only one person figured out how this clip was pulled off. Here`s a critical thinking question, get ready: Why are there wooden fences to the left and right on that particular section of the track (on-coming train view)? Here`s another: Why is there no vegetation between the wooden ties from that same view?

Also, it`s funny that everyone just assumes it`s a GUY who did this. I`m not saying that I don`t think it was, I got the impression that it was a guy. But it could just as easily have been a girl.

It woulda been better if someone painted the underside of the train with slides so when people decide to get under the thing and film it, at least there would be a comic or something. Maybe Toy Story reenacted by vultures?

Yeah, there`s no human moving that camera. Usually the air flow under the train is so high you get sucked with it. And the train would have at least TRY to stop if there was a human there, but it just ran over it.

Though, funny to see it from this angle XD

It may have tried to stop - we wouldn`t have seen it stop though, stopping distance is so far.

Train hit a women on Tuesday (stop after mine, luckily not my train) at 100mph, the train stopped 1/4 mile later. She died on impact.

Anyways, photoshopped. :P

Camera on stick / tripod sounds about right.

So somebody put a camera under a train .. woohoo. If there actually was somebody with the camera you would have had seen him when the camera turned by 180 degree. Either before or afterwards you`d have to have seen somebody.
You`d walk up to a kid playing with his RC car and admire him for his balls of steel harnessing the power of RADIO WAVES (or as somebody earlier stated: handle the mighty stick of shove it up your bridge)?

umm you tards.... did you watch the whole thing... first he was looking one way down the track as the train was coming toward him and about half way through he switched th camera to face the other way and you see the back of the train as its going away, they didnt just put the camera there

This person did this at least twice as I`ve seen it from a different position on the track!
It has to be some sort of remote controlled tripod system on the track or (the simpler the better) a camera mounted on a pole with the operator down below in a small bridge/culvert. The front deflector on the locomotive is too close to the ground to allow a person to lie on the track like that.
The train itself seems to be a Via Rail passenger train, as the government of Canada wordmark appears on the front over the distinctive yellow background.
