I live in Massillon, Ohio, and tornadoes get pretty close, but they usually avoid us. When they do get close, my friends dad likes to go outside and brush his teeth on his porch while watching them...

heheh i live in northwest texas...trust me, they aren`t exactly brave and that tornado isn`t too impressive. Me and my dad like to chase the big F-2`s and 3`s that often pop up in our area. Pretty good footage, though :-D

How far away was it? It looked kinda far cuz of the size of the power poles. It might have been pretty big.

Wow you people are so criticizing, maybe that was the first tornado he saw, and no matter the size it is still dangerous, why would you people want to be so idiotic about this, it is a cool video don`t be jerks.
I also love the part where the radio says "We warn you uh, not to go outside and watch this storm, but to remain in shelter."

that was still a pretty big tornado so those of you that are saying, "My farts cause more damage." then I suggest you should run into that tornado so it can knock some sense into ya.

Those May third ones sucked, went right by our house and threw our neighbors boat through our other neighbor`s roof, uprooted a ton of trees, just insane....the sound was insane also.

I live in Wichita, Kansas. There was a tornado at Greensburg, Kansas last Friday May 4, 2007. It was 1.2 miles wide and had wind speeds of 205 mph. It was rated an EF5 tornado and wiped out 95% of the town. There have been a total of 9 deaths and counting. The same night as that tornado, there were 30 reports of other tornadoes around that area. The following day, there were 91 reports.

That was tiny but impressive how close they were to it. Although straight line winds do more damage.

the ones on the actual website it came from are more impressive. one of them gets like 100 yards away and they see a car driving through the tornado.
"holy poo that guy just drove through a drating tornado"
"you wana try it?"

Well, all I have to say is, no matter what the size of a tornado is, they are all fierce. Mother Nature can be a true b*tch.

That tornado is tiny compared to the may 3rd tornados in Moore, OK back in 98. F5 at it`s greatest and just tore all sorts of crap up. That just made me laugh. Only good enough to stir my coffee. :-)

Wouldn`t it be great if some large piece of wood would have came flying all the way to the guy with the Camera, and the last thing he would say would be something like "mommy" followed by screams and grotesque sounds of spilling blood whyle slowly fading? It would be nature at its best!
