"B is the new C" lawl
Actually, some schools use social security numbers as student ID numbers.
That made me laugh. I`ve had teachers spell things out on scantrons before... it was interesting.
I`ve always abided by, "When in doubt, Charlie out," but I mean, that`s just ridiculous. Makes for a good laugh, though. ^-^
The reason is there, you just have to read from page 1 or so.
to me thats just a wow.
OMFG HILARIOUS I want that teacher D:
But saying Hitler was an Atheist? Someone has obviously learned history 101 from the Christian Republican Bible Belt.
but yeah that guy was a dumbass
"YEAH ... *ahem* well when I saw that there were `6` pages of comments, I just knew that people got off the subject. How in the `F` did this turn into a subject of religion ?( I didn`t read all the posts. Just a waste of time because I knew it wouldn`t be worth it.) LIGHTEN UP!!!"
So, you want something but are not willing to go through even minimal effort to obtain it. Hmm. Your behavior reflects a frightful trend in the United States that is deemed the path of least resistence. Get up off your lazy ass and not ask of others what you can do for yourself.
This is a college level class so yea people are that dumb.
You may be disheartened to learn that I hadn`t sought your respect anyway. And for the record, it was a matter of confusing exponent rules. The other guy wrongfully assumed I needed an extended lecture in basic algebra because of it and for that I called him a `pissant`, not an `idiot`.
But ahh, I suppose I could consent that I`m not as rehearsed in early math as much as I am in advanced math. I never much liked arithmetic.
I applaud that while at least you cannot keep your religious beliefs to yourself, you at least have the insight not to willfully convert all whom you may meet. Still, there are people who worship the same being you do but who take it a bit further, and the only way to get at them is to get at the institution. The disestablishment of religion is a necessity and a benefit, and while it may not seem as obvious now, we`ll be all the better for it.
Now that I applaud. Dangerous, uncontrolled religious beliefs keep society from obtaining an enlightened view of ourselves, the world, and the path to genuinely being good to each other. Regardless how moderate a fair amount of a religious population may be, we`ve demonstrated time and time again the hazards of delusional thinking and we should fight as thoroughly and as ruthlessly in kind. I`d personally prefer to reason with people and encourage their inner rationality to prevail, but some people...
"-China: It`s looked down upon to practice "foreign" religions by the govt - one being christianity outside of state controlled churches. The police kill those who meet privately in homes for church."
Those are for political reasons, not religious reasons. Communism is not compatible with perceived individuality, and must defend against it.
Oh my goodness; he must be a legend amongst dumbasses everywhere.
"Rumors that the shooters first asked Scott if she believed in God, then killed her after she answered `you know I do`, circled around for much time alongside other rumors concerning the causes for the ordeal, and the possible targeting of Christians, though this rumor was later debunked after testimony from Richard Castaldo indicated the shooters did not interact with him or Scott at any time before or during the ordeal."
"-WWII: Well they weren`t killing the Jews for fun. No, wait, they were, but you get the point"
The killing of Jews was because of the perceived notion that they were the cause of Germany`s economic and social down-turn. And if you are suggesting Hitler was atheist, you`ve got some reading to do. He believed intensely in his self-subscribed blood cult.
Hahahahahaha.... just where did you get the impression that I had any intention of making friends? I`m happy with the ones I have already.
"About athiestic violence - I can think of a few: the Columbine High School shooting, World War II (naw, Really!?!?), The Soviet Union back in the day, China (all throughout history)... Point made yet? Your argument is dead - Athiests can be JUST as violent as Religious people. I would argue that religious people are more peaceful, but I`m not into stats."
B-Hazard already raised the point: what do any of those instances of violence\war have to do with atheism? Lacking religious motivation does not automatically default to having atheistic motivation, you knob.
-Columbine: the killers directly asked many of their victims if they were a Christian. If yes, they got shot. If no, some were spared.-WWII: Well they weren`t killing the Jews for fun. No, wait, they were, but you get the point ;-)-Soviet Union: eh, I stand corrected. I thought it was illegal to be anything but Athiest there. My bad.-China: It`s looked down upon to practice "foreign" religions by the govt - one being christianity outside of state controlled churches. The police kill those who meet privately in homes for church. I`m not as edumacated on the other religions there, but all I`m saying is that "athiest violence" DOES exist.
And I really wish y`all would let the religious debate go. I am a Christian, but I don`t go around telling everyone I`m right. Why can`t we all just live together and not argue about something that a lot of people believe with all their hearts? What does it prove? Nothing.
How much of that `atheistic violence` is committed in the lack of the name of god?
Basically, people with small brains get a chubby at America-bashing. Mostly because their lives are so devoid of anything worthwhile that they derive pleasure from insulting people they don`t even know using sweeping generalizations and stereotypes. America-haters are the equivalent of the preppy kids in high school acting like they are better than everyone else, never realizing that (1) no one likes them, (2) they have no idea what they are talking about 99% of the time, and (3) no one even cares what they think.
I mean, hey, you don`t have to "like" America, but it doesn`t take much intelligence to to type short, overused, pseudo-witty responses such as "Only in America" in almost every page on this site.
first off, overmann, You are a jerk, plain and simple. If you want to have friends in life, insulting them personally is not the way to go. Just because some people have brain farts doesn`t mean that you should insult them. You do it too, can`t deny it.
About athiestic violence - I can think of a few: the Columbine High School shooting, World War II (naw, Really!?!?), The Soviet Union back in the day, China (all throughout history)... Point made yet? Your argument is dead - Athiests can be JUST as violent as Religious people. I would argue that religious people are more peaceful, but I`m not into stats.
And where in the world did religion come a part of a photoshopped test? Really, people, get a life and stop bringing religions into everything.
I judge intelligence based upon my own definition, which states that intelligence is simply one`s capacity for awareness. If one is ignorant through nothing more than a lack of effort or lack of capacity to scroll down a webpage, that person cannot be reasonably be considered intelligent, no? But of course you`re free to come up with your own definition of intelligence; I just think you`ll find mine to be fairly universal.
"I fail to see what`s wrong with religious people in general--evangelism, okay, that`s annoying, but agnostics and atheists can be equally evangelical."
Evangelical atheists and agnostics are not guilty of inciting mass violence throughout most of our history. Evangelical religious types, more so than "evangelical" a-religious types, are guilty of far more and are much more dangerous to the whole of society.
To my understanding--which may not mean much at all since I`m a stupid American teenager, so feel free to spit at me--Vatican City is considered a country, and I`m fairly certain it`s quite religious.
There was once a guy called Tom Cruise in my school. I never knew who he was, but I heard the name at the assembly a couple of times.
Since when have we judged intelligence by how low you scroll a web page/how carefully you read the small title? :D
Ignorant and delusional, maybe?
However stereotypical, it`s accurate. The United States as a nation has by far the single-most highest Christian population in the world.
Anyway... this student is such a lame ass. Regardless if one has taken the time to study, he could at least have read the test instructions and known that C wasn`t an answer for this particular test, myth or no. I bet he`s on financial aid; money better spent elsewhere, says I.
And Bajatar I fail to see how a president who "constantly babble `god bless you`" is an idiot....I think it`s pointless personally but it doesn`t make him an idiot.
Well I haven`t yet seen any other country where even the president constantly babbles "god bless you" or where you can read "in god we trust" on money (kind of cynical ;) ). Then again my Iranian is a bit rusty. Maybe it`s common there too. I don`t know. Yea it`s a stereotype, a good one though ;)
Anyway ... as the student didn`t know there were only two choices he had a chance of one fifth to get a right answer and not a quarter. Unless of course choice E was reserved for something else ;)
No S**T Man people dont read things anymore
1) It is NOT his social security number, its a student ID number.2) True or false test. Only two options. NOT multiple choice. NO Option D.3) To the people making fun of what could a complete moron, if this isn`t a hoax. LEARN TO SPELL!!!4) At least read the previous comments before you make yourself sound like a f.ucking retard. (See above points!) 5) Every country has blaspheming jacka.sses. Don`t go around perpetuating negative stereotypes.6) Stop saying "shopped" We all know it could be. It`s not funny anymore. Let it go.
Now, go listen to rock music and make your eardrums bleed. Mmm, rock...
I don`t see why the US has to be brought into this. There are idiots everywhere.
The William Turner part lolhaha poor dude he probably gets people saying that he is not nearly as good looking as Orlando Bloom all the time.=]
His professor sent him an e-mail the following day:
Dear Michael, Every year I attempt to boost my students` final grades by giving them this relatively simple exam consisting of 100 True/False questions from only 3 chapters of material. For the past 20 years that I have taught Intro Communications 101 at this institution I have never once seen someone score below a 65 on this exam. Consequently, your score of a zero is the first in history and ultimately brought the entire class average down a whole 8 points.
There were two possible answer choices: A (True) and B (False). You chose C for all 100 questions in an obvious attempt to get lucky with a least a quarter of the answers. It`s as if you didn`t look at a single question. Unfortunately, this brings your final grade in this class to failing. See you next year!
May God have mercy on your soul.
Sincerely,Professor William Turner
P.S. If all else fails, go with B from now on. B is the new C
that`s just freakin great
and most likely, this is fake, or the kid tried to get a 0
And the best part is... you feel for such an obvious hoax. And what county pulled the wool over your eyes?
Well now, aren`t you a smart one? It says right there "True/False Test"
There are five answers (A to E). How is always choosing one helping you to get a quarter right even if all answers were possible? That would only be a fifth. Either the prof isn`t very bright too or I`m not getting it ;)
Oh and why would they print off question sheets with 4 choices if there was only A and B, this has to be faked.
Now I wonder in which country this happened. Oh no wait, gratuitous religious remarks? Ah yes ... god`s own country, the US of A. Religious fanatics through and through ;)
lol good job, BENSON FOR PRESIDENT!
It`s just a link on IAB, girl.
My teacher wouldn`t give two poos.
wait for it.wait for it.
CK that sucks. That guy must feel like an idiot.
I did that on my SAT`s thinking that it would be better than leaving it empty. Not the case.
It clearly states that it`s a true/false test...
READ THE FCKING MATERIAL FCK HEADS!
oh and...why are they putting what looks like his social security number on the screen?
he did try, right? no? oh. never mind. he`s an idiot
but i had to create an account!!
