I love Sir Ian Mckellen too. HE is super famous and a great actor but still can be down to earth and have a laugh, even at his own expence

As much as I love that man, he knows it is more complicated than that to form a character.

witeowl, I love Coupling! Just thought I would share the love. Anyone love Little Britain? Someone should submit a few clips from that show. Those would amuse just about everyone.

Baalthazaq, thanks for the link to the Daniel Radcliffe episode. It`s one of my favorites!

Besides, at least a couple of people on Extras have been Americans, the Ben stiller episode I linked was great. :P

Hawkeyes, you absolute moron. You just can`t say, British Humor is hilarious! No, you have to be a bitch, and compare it to American humor when no one else is even mentioning it! What the hell is wrong with you?!

"And how did I know what to say? Because it was written down..."

Oh, good stuff. My fellow Americans just don`t properly appreciate good dry humor. Thank the gods that we had a decent crew for the US version of "The Office" - it would have been a shame for it to have been absolutely destroyed in translation (e.g. "Coupling").

So as Lawrence Olivier said to Dustin Hoffman on the set of Marathon Man after Hoffman went 48 hours without sleep in order to "get in character,":

"My dear boy, why don`t you try `acting`?"

This is from a show called Extras. And while this clip is quite amusing, my favorite episode has to be the one with Daniel Radcliffe. YouTube that one. :)
