Wow, either those guys are underpaid or overpaid. dummies. I bet they wouldn`t react to an explosion if it was 3 feet away.

It scares me that the people who are suppose to be protecting the citizens will not even notice a robbery.

the brit police busted me and my friends for being on the roof of some building.
:(
anyways... they probably thought of this as they saw the cops outside, walked out with the camera, cops saw them + it was no big deal. or it was a hoax. if not then they didn`t really steal much, it must have been right by the window, and i`d bet one of them saw the box and called them back.

haha the london met police are seriously the worst police in britain. hands down.

altho that was prob done on the day of some sorta parade. so the police are focusing on that, they didnt hear or see anything suspicious so i suppose u could let em slide on that.

AND if they saw the camera, they probably wouldn`t suspect something like that. I mean, you generally don`t sit there and film a random house and then :O OMG KIDZ ROBBIN` IT!! It just doesn`t happen.
And my friends and I always wear hoodies and guess what? I`ve never had a problem with police thinking I was up to no good. And another stereotyping issue - they`re usually BLACK hoodies. Dun dun dun... punks, obviously, we must be; therefore, we are up to absolutely no good and happen to be robbing a house.
Again, I ruin everyone`s fun, but this isn`t interesting at all.

Badmamajama, they`re flourescent uniforms, to help you see them in the dark and identify them?
And larajunky, I`ve never met ANYONE in my country who calls our police force `bobbies`. On the contrary, we call them cops here as well :)

I`m with Blackpuma and lestat221 on this one. The "community service officers" were attentive to something else that was conveniently and intentionally kept off-camera; they do not have "around the corner" vision, and can`t simply suspect a hood because a "kid" is dressed like a hood.

The 1st thing someone would holler if they did would be "profiling". You can`t judge a book by it`s cover.

And lastly, had Chuck Norris been one of the cops, there would be three dead kids in the alley right now.

i would assume if they`re actually specifically video taping it, then they`re robbing their own house so if they ARE caught they wouldnt be in serious trouble (except from maybe their parents heheh)

but i do find it odd that not one of them even just took a peek around the corner to see what they were doing, jogging up to the house in hoddies and making a fair amount of noise

and as for that "british cop lololol pansy lolol"
you dont see as many fat gun toting morons in the british police force now do ya.

come to think of it you probably do, so screw it

"British cops are pussies. It`s not a suprise." they aren`t cops dumbass. they are community support officers, they aren`t trained, they don`t get paid much, and they aren`t given much professional equipment, and ontop of that, they don`t have the power to arrest you. back to the whole "pussies" thing, our police officers don`t use guns, because we don`t need them to enforce the law.
Other than that, i find this very sad that even there they didn`t do anything, theres no argument that they "live there" or they "looked normal" they wore `hoodies` its damn obvious they are up to no good, stereotyping or no, its true. and the front door was at the front of the house, not the back. other than this, i don`t even think that that`s fake, you don`t know our teenagers.

To be honest though, they weren`t looking at the kids when they were running away, nor could they see around the corner of the house. The kids could`ve just been going into the house like they lived there. Even if they would`ve seen them running away, it was just a box; it`s not like it was a TV or anything of much value.
I know. I suck the fun out of everything.

Did you see the way those cops sprang into action. Thats some good work on their part. I probably would have gone up to one of the cops and stolen his/her wallet to. But with that kind of immediate action, I wouldn`t risk it.

very funny, those cops were completely ignorant of what was going on

and even though it was around the corner where they couldn`t see, if they were good cops they would have noticed a group of people running from the scene with objects they didn`t have when they went around the corner and been suspicious

Ok there`s obviously a large group of cops (or whatever they are)there but there`s not much going on which is why they`re talking. Fine.
I could understand no one noticing the 3 "robbers" entering. But it`s the way they exited. Half jogging, hoods up, and carrying something. They were obviously looking to get away and no one said anything.
The only thing I could figure is the cops didn`t think anyone would try to pull something (real or fake) when there were so many cops in the area.

wow... that reminds me off my hometown, the town where you can ride in a stolen shopping cart in front of about 10 cops and they don`t even notice, me and my friends littarrally rode a shopping cart in front of a group of cops filling up at a gas station, they saw us, pointed, we waved, and they did nothing. it was funny. END OF LOG

eh I`m taking this one with a grain of salt. For one, they were obviously working with someone/something around the corner from the robbers (that someone/something being off-camera, I might add). Secondly, for those above you say "they look like robbers," well, to pursue them just because they "look" like robbers would probably cause them more headaches then they need. Unless the laws are different over there in England regarding profiling and whatnot.

They were in pretty much plain view when they walked over there, and they WALKED. I don`t think it would matter too much about the corner, they looked like robbers to me.

Anyway, I love how the police men were sorta in a cirlce, reminds me of my school :D
