"Meh, photoshopped. You can totally see the pixels."
LMFAO why does everyone asume EVERYTHING is freakin` photoshopped good lord!
Was that necessary?
you retard, he was joking
The tree that lighting struck in my yard exploded.
Is it just me or is that completely wrong? Just off the top of my head, but, I`d think 100 a second would average out a little higher than 8 million in a year.
it`s a merge of the 1337 keyboard and this post 0__o
1. thank you meepdude!and2. that was awesome
The reason why you really dont want to stand near a tree, would be because the lightning instantly heats up the water and sap inside a tree, and when a limb bursts off, the hot liquid will burn the §hit out of your skin. Not to mention all the flying splinters and other larger peices of wood.
I do that trick where every second that passes before hearing a BOOM is equivalent to 1 mile away....It always strikes really far away from me :-P.
I also remember that the whole "lightning never strikes the same spot twice" is complete bullsh*t. Lightning strikes the Empire State Building several times a year.
Just found this on the internet :-). I didn`t do anything to make sure it was 100% accurate information but I got it off of this website (warning for all those who like information well researched)"A hundred lightning bolts do hit Earth every second—and more than eight million hit Earth every year." - Lightning: The Deadly Truth Reported by John Roach and written by Sarah IvesNational Geographic Kids NewsJuly 13, 2004http://news.nationalgeographic.com/kids/...

(Something out there hates me)
Any birds in that thing were having a bad day.
