That`s really interesting. I always have a real interest in seeing propaganda in old cartoons; it`s just so different than anything now.

Yeah it`s cool seeing Hitler beat up too. xD

That was great!!! I mean, it`s like this classis WB cartoon which is adorable, but also it makes fun of Hitler! I never thought i`d be this pleased with a cartoon!!

Wow. Creative. I bet it took you the whole week to think that up.

I`m flattered that you`d waste so much time on little ol` me.

I thought Vinzenz was joking about Hilter at first, but I don`t know now. If you are a nazi, grab the nearest chainsaw, start it, and shove it up you`re ass. Get raped you bastard. I wanna see you shoved in an oven, you faggot.

haha hilarious! Hard to believe that was around in the `40s.

Vinzenz is some dumb f@g from the `burbs who hasn`t seen American History X and probably has alot of latent issues including gayness.

Of course I said "we`re".

And "admitted" isn`t the word I`d use.

I`m a loud n` proud Nazi, thank you very much.

xD I feel like I`ve seen this.

But it`s great, none the less.

Warner Bros. hit a low with this one, eh?

I miss the old cartoons, new stuff is lame.

T-t-t-t-that`s all folks!

I can`t believe they held up a sign that said "Silly ain`t he?" in front of Hitler.

So... Um... pardon the stupidity but is this supposed to be glorifying Hitler as the attacker of the Soviets or Stalin as the one who brought him down. Either way it`s not very accurate, and it`s probably not a good idea to be glorifying either one of those to the kids. I can`t even see any Americans promoting either one, especially 60 years ago.

It was funny though. I loved the termiteskis and Mel Blanc as Hitler, with the sign "Isn`t he silly?"

... this is a disgrace to all of Hitler`s hard work. Such displays of ignorance disgust me. But, I suppose you`ve got your opinion.

Even if it IS misconstrewed.

Yeah I agree, DelevelD. The Donald Duck ones (both of them!) were way better. All of these war cartoons are out on DVD now, remastered and everything.

Warner Bros was tops when it came to cartoons, from just funny to very political. And Mel Blanc was the "man of a 1000 voices".

None better - todays toons could learn from Merry Melodies and Looney Toons.

That`s one way the media let children know what was going on, but not worry about it.

"I wonder if the Axis made fun of the Allies the same way?"

nope, sorry. over here it`s been mostly just standard propaganda. nothing funny. surely there`s been something comical, but most of it seems to be lost.

btw i love the one with donald duck way more.

"One of the most amusing of the banned cartoons, but certainly not the worst.
You should see the ones making fun of the Japanese."
I agree it`s amusing, but I dont believe it was banned, I saw this episode in a documentary about the warner bros. They wouldn`t have shown the clip on cartoon network if it was banned, and besides, f**k hitler, he took a minimum of 5 shots of heavy amphetamines every day, crazy mofo if you ask me

Good old propaganda cartoons; boosting morale (among the troops AND on the home front) by mocking the enemy. I wonder if the Axis made fun of the Allies the same way?

...or the negros.

Some of those "ol black Joe, Mississippi cotton pickin`" cartoons from Warner Bros. were great...but unpresentable by today`s climate.
