Do they spend all night squishing one of their arms??
-------------------------------------------------
You wouldn`t understand, female. The guys make their whole arms numb so they have something to do with their morning wood.

no one can see how they sleep unless you tape yourself while sleeping
which would be pretty weird 0.o

Just see how you`re laying when you wake up.

I sleep in all but 2 of those positions; the fetus and splashlog. (Eh, it just depends what mood I`m in I think.. But just sometimes on position can be more comfortable than the other, and then the other sleep position is more comfortable than the previous night`s)

This is a bunch of hoo-ha. Below I will say something true about YOU!

You like be accepted by people, but also enjoy those few times you get to pamper yourself. You like to talk about your feelings but only to people you truly trust.

Was I right!? OMG! HOW!?

Freefall

Lying on your front with your hands around the pillow, and your head turned to one side. Often gregarious and brash people, but can be nervy and thin-skinned underneath, and don`t like criticism, or extreme situations.

Starfish

Lying on your back with both arms up around the pillow. These sleepers make good friends because they are always ready to listen to others, and offer help when needed. They generally don`t like to be the centre of attention.

and foetus.

=D im very complicating.

BS. I`ve read this a couple of years ago and the descriptions for each one were completely different.

overanalyzed nonsense- i sleep in lots of different positions depending on which is most comfortable to me at any given time... has nothing to do with my personality

I don`t sleep in one position I tend to lie feotus/yearner on my left side then soldier then feotus/yearner on my right then starfish and then I begin again. I fall asleep in whatever position I manage to fall asleep in. Judging from how tangled my blanket is in the morning I do that all night.

My sleep position changes very often. Actually, I don`t think I`m capable to staying in one position throughout the night, I just can`t do it...I probably move about as much while I`m sleeping as I do during the day, which is saying something!

However...judging by the positions I fall asleep in, and the positions I wake up in, I most often sleep in starfish, foetus, yearner (except with one leg curled and one hand under the pillow), and freefaller.

And now I`ve got to ask...exactly how is it possible to sleep in the log position? Do they spend all night squishing one of their arms??

I think that I sleep a mixture of all of those positions. Its very dependent on heat and how im feeling. And yes,b-hazard i agree the comment pages are always needed for a bit of banter.

I switch between them... I do just about all of them in a night. If I had to choose the amount I did, I`d say something like:

60% Foetus
20% Yearner
10% soldier
6% log
3% freefaller
1% starfish

I sleep foetus, with a thumb in my mouth, one sock on my left foot, hugging a pillow, talking in my sleep, and breaking LOTS of wind.

Oh, and I sleep "yearner" style. Except my left(or right, depending on what side I`m laying on) elbow and forearm go under the pillow and I lay my head on top of it.

KikiPeepers i sleep like that to but with one arm under the pillow and i change sides a few times a nite but always the same position.

now that i look at it agen i sleep kind of half way between that that and the free faller. somewhere in the middle of being on my side and on my front with one leg up and one arm under my pillow.

sometimes i cant sleep unless turn around so my head is were my feet normally are.

I start off the night in the foetus, then maybe move onto the freefaller and always end up a starfish...

What does that say about me?

its pretty interesting how you can tell so much about a person just by the way they sleep.
i sleep in the soldier position and what they had to say about me was pretty accurate.
i dont know how some people can sleep some of those ways though -- it`s almost like you`re a pretzel!!

I have nothing close to any of those.

The way I sleep is like... I have my legs folded under me, like that "frog" stretching position, and I put the rest of my body over my legs, head near my feet.

Sometimes it`s just one leg under me, and the other stretched out behind slightly bent.

No, I`m not a gymnast, and I`m not really that flexible, apart from those two positions...

Foetus all the way, although I usually end up winding the blankets around my arms and hugging them. I will sleep on my stomach on occasion though. Sleeping on your back is just so uncomfortable though. I don`t know how anyone does it. :S

Starfish, Freefaller, Foetus, Yearner, Soldier... What a creative mind! I would consider myself a three-armed starfish. At least one arm should be pinned to my side, the other one should be up around the pillow.

Freefaller/Foetus with my arms sandwiching the pillow.

It`s very comfy ^_^ but not when you are trying to listen to podcasts ATST

I do soldier, apparently.
but honestly, I don`t see how any other of those positions can be comfortable. One`s shoulder would be twisted, or have too much weight on it.. Laying on my front, I can`t breathe at all.

Somebody somewhere is nodding profoundly.

Yearner
People who sleep on their side with both arms out in front are said to have an open nature, but can be suspicious, cynical. They are slow to make up their minds, but once they have taken a decision, they are unlikely ever to change it.

Freefall

I usually have one hand under the pillow.
The other hand would, usually, be on the pillow.

The lower half of me would be like Yearner and sometimes the Foetus.

Mine wasn`t on there, I don`t sleep any of those ways! I sleep like this...

The only other one on this site that I think I do on occassion is this:

Yearner

"People who sleep on their side with both arms out in front are said to have an open nature, but can be suspicious, cynical. They are slow to make up their minds, but once they have taken a decision, they are unlikely ever to change it."

That sounds true! But it sucks my main sleeping position wasn`t on there.
