Lol so it`s the same guy hmmmm.

guess he`ll dress as an easter bunny pretty soon or Jesus.

Over the summer I don`t know what he`ll do, dress up as a fat guy in a speedo with a sign that says "don`t wipe out"

When this came on the news I laughed and decided not to go on that road . It was in orlando I know the speed limit on the road is 45 or 55mph depending where it is along the road. During the christmas season he did the same thing in an elf costume.

Lol at this

1) the cop was legal out of uniform ever hear of undercover cops, it doesn`t specific uniform code.
2) 56 while over a 55mph speed limit won`t get you pulled usually within 5 is safe with city cops and under 10 is safe with state troopers
3) IF it happened to be in California, they can`t fight it on the basis of unlawful ticket b/c of the whole "speed trap" thing. It`s right out in the open, not hidden and his intentions are clearly enough stated on his board.

Personally I would have hit the leprechaun and hoped to steal his pot of gold while he was down. lol.

just laugh at it guys unless you know the laws you`re talking about

"Baloney. He nailed a guy for doing 56. That`s ONE MILE PER HOUR OVER! Watch it again and listen to be sure. Tell me that is fair and I`ll throw the Blarney Stone at you."

How do you know the speed limit wasn`t 50mph?

"Speed traps are ILLEGAL in the state of California...Each one of these drivers can fight this and get off the hook. Damn FAT COPS feed off of peoples ignorance of the law to create revenue!"

No they can`t fight it, considering it`s not California. The Youtube description says it`s Orange County, Florida.

I love how some people go crying "Entrapment!!" Well, it`s not.

"Entrapment is a legal defense by which a defendant may argue that he or she should not be held criminally liable for actions which broke the law, because they were induced (or entrapped) by the police to commit said acts. For the defense to be successful, the defendant must demonstrate that the police induced an otherwise unwilling person to commit a crime"

These people weren`t invited or made to speed by the cops. Plus, get over it. They got caught doing what they know they`re not supposed to. Stop whining because the cop`s doing his job.

"Nope...i asked my mom about that once, and she said, u can be about 5 mph over the spped limit, but not way over. If its excessive, then u get a ticket, but not for 1 or 3 miles over..."

Don`t drive much do you? Getting pulled over has more to do with your relative speed and the conditions. If everyone is going 15 over the limit in sunny weather, chances are the cops won`t pull anyone over. That`s why it`s good to drive in packs on the highway. Anyway, if he`s having people pulled over for going 56, I sure hope it`s a 45 zone.

Yeah, 56 mph is no more dangerous than 55, and 57 is no more dangerous than 56. 58 is no more dangerous than 57, and if i felt like typing a whole lot more, i could show you that 100mph is just as safe as 50mph"

56 was not the speed, it is the police code for the infraction.

If police would put naked women signs froms mile to mile people would actually go slower and the action would cost a lot less than a guy dressing like a....ahhamm....thing!

Geez someone call the waaahmbulance. If one gets pulled over for speeding its your own dumb fault- not bad luck. The speed limit is a RULE...not a SUGGESTION (verbatim from the cop who pulled me over last week.)

So the traffic cop is getting slagged for doing his job. Typical response from the usual suspects. Christ, you guys, can you TRY to be a bit more original??

I thought this wasn`t legal because California has laws against speed traps. But, speed traps are very well defined in CA law as either highway lines (for aerial monitoring) or non-surveyed roads. Sucks.

anyone who claims entrapment should face the firing squad

how clever i like that. i mean just because a cop isn`t around doesn`t mean you get to speed. it`s fair. i have dealt with too many idiot speeding drivers who always nearly hit me. one even hit me because he lost control. so kudos.

I would just claim entrapment. Your honor, I only drove faster because of the leprechaun, otherwise I would have stayed under the speed limit.
