That was awesome. Google Earth rules. The Firefox crop circle was the coolest crop circle ever and the Google pool was sweet too. LMAO @ the people sunbathing! The music totally gave me the Jurassic Park-feeling (I love JP although I know the music isn`t from that movie) I`ve saved all those locations in Google Earth now so I can go back and look at them anytime. Now I`m off to find interesting things in Norway in Google Earth lol.

The music is from The Mummy Returns, written and composed by Alan Silvestri, if anyone was wondering.
You can find it on iTunes if you want.

And yes, they aren`t that much of a secret if you can see them in Google Earth.

I think its pretty cool that the internal default for google earth zooms in on my hometown (Lawrence, KS) because one of the developers for google earth is from here. Pretty cool, I think.

LOL at the people that think these things are fake. Do people just live in their own little world these days. Wow!

The only thing on that vid that I haven`t seen on the history channel or somewhere else was the "f*ck" cropcircle/dirt drawing.

I can`t believe someone actually asked "What is area 51?" I almost choked when I saw that.

Neat, the `crop circles` were amusing... But to label natural features that look like faces "secret places" is just silly. I mean, if you scroll down any coastline on google you`ll find dozens of coastal features which look like faces. If you stare at clouds long enough you`ll see clouds that look like faces. Its hardwired into the human brain to try and find faces in what we see.

Didn`t see weirdwaffle`s post before, but I guess there are many other things too...pointless things. I was hoping for secret government buildings too. Anyways, I found out about the Swastika building. They are three buildings on the U.S. Naval Base in Coronado, California. There is a letter about a press release concerning the shape. Apparently, it was supposed to be 4 L-shaped buildings around a center point, but they never thought about what it would look like from the air. To read the letter form the Department of the Navy, go here: Swastika Navy Buildings

Nice music. I suppose it could have been from The Mummy considering that last one looked the artifact from The Mummy. Anyways, it was kinda cool I guess, but I was expecting secrets not a building shaped like the Nazi symbol, a few land formations and crop circles, and what appeared to be...a man sunbathing. lol

"damnit, when i read secret places of earth i thought you meant like area 51 :("

Area 51 is the first thing I ever looked up in Google Earth. I did a lot of research, so I really wanted to beat my head against the desk after realizing that typing "Area 51" in the search field would get me there in no time X-(

"Going as close to 0" N 0" W Produces some pretty strange results. Looks like template storage, and a picture of the US Capitol building (?)"

Obviously you didn`t do that. 0°N 0°W is in the Atlantic Ocean, right next to Africa. And there`s nothing there but water.

Anyway, most of them yell Photoshopped so I don`t even need to say it.

aliens cant reach earth to make crop circles anyway.
the universe is 156billion light years wide (at least), so it would take a hell of a lot of time for us to send them a singnal or them to send one back. :] and that alian research people have only been alien reseraching for 60 years, so thats only 60light years out so far... aha

On crop circles: Wouldn`t it be great if aliens just did that to f*ck with us? They don`t mean anything, they`re just there to confound us. I think that would be hilarious.
I thought the video was kind of boring though.

"Swastika dosn`t mean Nazi they just nicked the symble, I think it means good luck"

I don`t really know what it means but its a symbol from india. He didnt just invent the Symbol. And that building is actually quite famous, I`ve heard about it before. It was built before WW2 i think and the reason they made it into that shape was for ventilation purposes.

Also, the music sounds like something out of Indiana Jones ;-)
