...and therefore every liberal is a jobless bum who will never make any important differences in the world.

Yea that makes perfect sense.

Well. At least anti-liberals aren`t stereotypical in the slightest.

Petitions are how the masses protect thier rights. it is as simple as that. the corporations would have you chained down eating Mcdonald`s and watching nonstop commercials and giving them every cent of your money just for the privilige. The real point isnt about internet radio, the bigger picture is that in america and europe, the people control the government as much as it controls them, so vote and protect your beliefs and rights, because if you dont, then others decide what you believe for you. the real power is in numbers and people. fight for you rights.

From what i could read the only thing this would lead to is a price reduction for peoples to have online radio.

the RIAA has control over online radio since they decide the price but how is that even possible? When I pay for the internet do I pay the RIAA... because I was not aware of that... in fact im pretty sure that I dont owe the RIAA a single penny for my online connectivity since it`s not even their field of work.

Is all this situation caused because too many peoples are playing their "mainstream" music online on radio show?

"and it doesn`t make your computer crash every time you try to click on something."

Mine doesn`t crash. It just might be your computer.

F*ck RIAA, CRB, CRS, PMS, WTF, everything. They`re taking it too far. Music has to be free! If not, it`s the artists who deserve the money. Next album I buy, I`ll get it from Jason Kay himself.

The IRAA is always up to no good. Getting rid of interenet radio is only going to encourage more people to download illegally. This just proves that the world is run by money, and unless you have lots of it your rights are subject to change.

And it also gets the bands publicity and acculates interest where it`s needed: FInding the artist and going to live showd which creates more publicity. There isnt much money in album sales these days.

Are they still feeding us bullpoo about it harming the artists?

The artists ahrdly get anything. We`re damaging the giant corporations Sony, Warner etc. Keep doing radio. It`s good for the economy.

Hahah, I was going to say "Am I the only one who doesn`t care?" But I can see that`s not entirely true. Nobody listens to radio at home, and if you do. Just get yourself a damn radio.

This is equivalent to lighting a dozen babies who are holding puppies in their arms on FIRE.

Well, not really. I only listen to one Internet Radio thing, but I`d hate to see this happen to it.

[email protected] arguing, trying to act intelligent. Don`t worry about that dude Ron he`s just upset about his small penis. It`s called "projection of aggression" lol

I agree with Guest, I don`t think it will go through just like a lot of other BS propositions, it`s just something they`re trying. But just copy and paste what they had on the page and email your congressman.

And sign the petition, I mean if you can take the time to post on here, you can take the time to do that.

Seriously, this is serious... (wow.. ok its late >.> that was a bad sentence... anyway)

Alot of small band start how? buy distributing demo to university radio, making small show, trying to slowly be know and reconized. Internet radio was a very great way to discover some news talents, some new music and add diversity on the music scene.

Dont lets THEM, the media with big money, decide what YOU should listen to. Fight for diversity and choice, so people with talent but not money can still make their way to your music selection.

I wont lets a bunch of granny and big shot with money decide what i listen to... and you shouldnt lets them decide for you either...

its take 2 minutes, sign on and complains, and those who say its doesnt make a difference... thats the ONLY WAY you can make a real difference... so please do it ...

This is such BS! The radio station I work for just went through the process of establishing streaming through a small contractor, and it looks like it will all go to hell. F%^k the RIAA!
