My dad was going to send a photo into the BBC.

Saw it when I was through in Glasgow, didn`t look anything like that though. Probably because I was drunk and there was random neds terrorising the hotel we were at.

I was in Memphis and my mom looked at the moon and said, "Oh, look, full moon." We were then facing away from the moon (we were in the car) and my dad said, "No it isn`t, it`s only half!" and I said, "It`s not even half!" We looked at the moon when were facing it again, and it was full. My dad and I were positive that when we saw it earlier it was different. Later we saw on the news that there had been an eclipse and we were a lot less confused...lol...true story

I saw the first part of it, as in Earth shadow = half covering moon. After that, the evening became somewhat of a blur. It was a good party...Although, one of my friends took some e. and was incredibly annoying.

-B-Hazard, for example, is a douche. I was joking about it being from different planets. Douche.-

Believe it or not, it`s kind of hard to tell tone of voice from text. So if you were being sarcastic, sorry, it wasn`t apparent. At all.

I saw it as you making a stupid comment, so I responded with an assholish rebuttle.

Tough titties, Turkleton.

"dont look like no eclipse to me."

that is because you are ignorant. An eclipse happens when planets align with the sun and block out the light getting to the moon. It shines a reddy pink colour because light is reflected from a different planet onto the moon. Saturn i think??

"The amount of refracted light depends on the amount of clouds or dust in the atmosphere, and this light causes the Moon to glow with a coppery-red hue that varies from one eclipse to the next."

I also thought that the gravitational pull of the earth caused the photons to bend...? and because red has less energy etc. ... didnt really pay too much attention when i read it.

Its an oddity to me that most of those pics showed completely different colored moons.

Maybe they are of different lunar eclipses on different planets?
