Oh, and one more thing. Karby, how can you even say that. What you said is not only against white people, it`s also against any black person who lives in America. What you said is assuming all Americans (or apparently the only ones who count to you) are white. And, I don`t care what color you are because not only are making fun of the white AND black in me, you are also making fun of the American in me.

I`ll admit, when I first watched it, I thought it was kind of offensive towards black people. Then, after thinking about it, I started to think it was offensive towards white people (saying all white people over-looked black people). Then I realized I was thinking too much about a simple joke that obviously didn`t offend the white or black people in the commercial. (And in case any one is wondering, I am bi-racial).

The "and I like that" line was said almost exactly like the Woomba parody (the little pink robot) :-D.

@curtisid:
of course the only people who found this funny are stupid fat white people. they`ve never had to deal with an ounce of racism a day in their I am a pretty pretty little girling lives. well not counting the day those lovely muslim boys smashed those planes into their precious towers.

I feel stupid. During the whole video I thought the funny part was because the bandaids are easily visible, and then the end came on and I was like ohhh. What`s worse is I thought it was funny before the end.

i hope that everyone that found this funny was a stupid white person, i mean i`m white but really we still class things that are skin coloured to be white!

i`m white and i can understand that we should stop being so stupid and call things what they actually are.

Point #1 They`re not invisible. They`re like, gray. Eww.
Point #2 TOTALLY RACIST MAN!
I liked the part where the guy says "They`re invisible! It says so on the box!" =-p

"What the fu-" lolololol That was racist. Still it was true, they`re visible on everyone though, just made for light skinned people.
"It says so on the box!" The box lies. I want that to be on TV!!!!! ^_^

They actually have band-aids for black people now. I saw it on Oprah when I still watched it. That James Frey debacle was annoying.

And it`s all well and good to tell me that "African American" leaves out people of Jamaican descent. But rather than telling me to "refrain" from using it, how about offering up an alternative.

Lighten up Tiger Paw... Its all fine and good to go and analyze something lie this in a sociology class, but 99% of the people on here don`t want to hear you wax philosophical about what you think this 30-sec blurb REALLY means to the American people... We all see it, its kind of obvious,

now LIGHTEN UP

Ha ha, I knew it was only a matter of time before someone jumped on that. I`m not going to go into a big speech about it. Yes, it`s funny. Yes, it made me laugh. But I also think that there is a deeper social connotation to it, which it was also making fun of.

And it`s all well and good to tell me that "African American" leaves out people of Jamaican descent. But rather than telling me to "refrain" from using it, how about offering up an alternative.

I`m done.

tiger-paw, I think it`s just a parody not some deep socio-political analysis. And by the way I remeber seeing brown colored band-aids a loooong time ago. I don`t know if they still have them but I bet they took them off the shelves after being sued by a light skinned black person for discrimination or some PC bullsh*t. And by the way please refrain from using "African-American", it overlooks those of Jamaican descent ;)

Good grief, it is almost painful to read all these comments about how this is making fun of African Amercians.

No. It is making fun of our society that is so geared towards white people that we come up with products that are supposedly less of an inconvenience to us, but in actually does the exact opposite to someone of a different race. And most people don`t even realize it.

This parody is not racist, but rather, exposing the racism of the culture in the way it sometimes overlooks non-white people and doing it in a way that makes you laugh. I loved it.

Although, I don`t really care if people can see my band-aid. I like the kid`s band-aids with pictures on them.

I remember when the original "invisible" band-aids came out and watching those commericals, and I do remember thinking, "what about people who AREN`T white?" and then I went on my merry way, waiting for a day like this to answer that question for me!

LOVED IT! :-D

totaly funny! lol! barely maid it throught the cheezy dancing w/out rotfl!! haha i give these dancers some props though cause i wouldnt wana be caught dead in this comercial well i guess you do what you have to do to pay the bills.

oh and i agree they this commercial totaly proves that people of any type of color besides white shouldnt have to look like a freek with a fricken white bandaid on their body. its America people come on all of us are imigrants frokm somewhere or another and we all should have the same rights including bandaid color!
