i`m white and i can understand that we should stop being so stupid and call things what they actually are.
every time i saw a box of invisible bandages with a black person on the front i though, "wtf? they aren`t invisible on people with darker skin!"
but it was still pretty funny overall.
thats exactly what i was thinking. GODD i love this lil video:) gonna go watch it again:)
Um...okay...how about "black person"?
now LIGHTEN UP
And it`s all well and good to tell me that "African American" leaves out people of Jamaican descent. But rather than telling me to "refrain" from using it, how about offering up an alternative.
No. It is making fun of our society that is so geared towards white people that we come up with products that are supposedly less of an inconvenience to us, but in actually does the exact opposite to someone of a different race. And most people don`t even realize it.
Although, I don`t really care if people can see my band-aid. I like the kid`s band-aids with pictures on them.
your so wrong id hit it
Somehow, I think that was the best part.
But it`s all good.
"I can`t see anything!"
This gets a 4.
I saw the funny side of it!!!
"I can` t see it at all" LOL
but my fave is: "IT SAYS SO ON THE BOX."
I remember when the original "invisible" band-aids came out and watching those commericals, and I do remember thinking, "what about people who AREN`T white?" and then I went on my merry way, waiting for a day like this to answer that question for me!
LOVED IT! :-D
oh and i agree they this commercial totaly proves that people of any type of color besides white shouldnt have to look like a freek with a fricken white bandaid on their body. its America people come on all of us are imigrants frokm somewhere or another and we all should have the same rights including bandaid color!
Just incase people were wondering (Some people asked me for the original link I dunno why)
I liked the way this made fun of stupid, contrived, "hip" type commercials in that annoying GAP format.
"They`re extra absorbant too...and I like that."
And dudeman1st, you could not be more wrong if you tried.
That was awsome.
Black People always get overlooked. F-ed up. Good commercial. ^.^
but the end was modern. but isn`t the point of it to show off that you can stand the pain,, at least that`s what i do...
