Zerocyde is in the 18-29 range... I find that perhaps a tad unlikely?"

That`s not very unlikely.. my dad left home when he was fourteen and was homeless, now he owns a resturant and an internet business, has two kids and a wife..

hey non-nice individual that say people that are homeless deserve to be that way or what ever F U my father is now homeless and its only because the state of new jersey screws vets! and its a shame that its illegal to feed the homeless in some states! when i go to phili i give most of my money away because i know most of the time they are homeless vets and plus i have seen them before and nothing is worse then just walking right on by because you "feel they deserve to live like that" i would love to see you guys go one week without a full meal and having to sleep on heat drain! jerks!

Have any of you saying how easy it would be for them to get a job ever applied for a minimum wage job?

Have you noticed the part on the application where it asks for your address, phone number, social security number, place of previous employment, references, and permission to run a background check? At least a few of those items could be problematic for a homeless person.

Also has anyone noticed that in order to rent an apartment in a lot of cases you need proof of income?

Just thought I`d mention...

Another crazzzy idea here, just throwing this out..
maybe, just MAYBE, our government can stop spending millions on art buildings and state of the art washrooms and start spending a few dollars here and there on affordable housing?
wild ideas, i know.

i hope every one goes out and commit this felony (impersonating a peace officer is a felony and i believe a terrorist act).

how much you you want to bet that the two homeless people now stay in front of that fast food place in hope for more food.

He didn`t use any tax money to feed those guys. He used the fast food joint`s money. It`s not like the restaurant is gonna send a bill to the PD.

kinda suppose he "had the heart on the right place"

but he did just abuse the ?police? and use extra 8 bucks of the tax money...

but still "he" fed the homeless/poor

The people talking about killing off homeless people on here make me sick. It`s not so easy to `get a job` for someone in that position. If you were hiring someone, would you rather hire the person that dresses nice for the interview or the homeless guy that smells funky? They didn`t exactly ask to be homeless you know.

That was pretty neat. And he didn`t have to give them one dime. Give to the homeless and save money.

Of course you could just buy something yourself and give it to them. But imagine doing this a couple of times a week. You save money (don`t call me a cheap b** but you do, right?), you have a laugh if it works, they get some food and drinks, and if you get.. Let`s say McDonald`s to do this.. Face it. They can afford it! Last but not least: you get a nice fuzzy warm feeling inside.

Giving food to the homeless is great. Stealing food under false pretenses (that is really what he was doing) is pathetic. This is pretty much in the same class as the old link of the guy who would go through McDonald`s and claim that his order was missing something to get a free fries.

I`ve no qualms about giving food directly to the homeless. They can`t buy booze with it.

oh sorry for the double post but i have to point out that what is lazyer?
a) sitting down in a car and ringing someone to feed the homless
b) sitting at home/ work/ somewhere and watching a guy do it on a computor
I think b personaly and i would go out and feed the homless but i just got back from college... and I can`t be arsed to

wow. you people really hate the homeless. sure a lot of them are too busy shooting up to think about anything else, but they`re not all like that. and despite what you may think, there`s not always something you can do about it.

I don`t find this impressive at all... it`s sad to take advantage of people`s trust like this. Remember when the Starbucks staff wouldn`t give any cases of water to emergency workers during the WTC crisis? Maybe they`d been the victim of too many idiotic pranks like these.

Good that they wernt drunk yet, otherwise they wouldn`t realise that food was handed to them.

Oh also. The human race is a parasite. Just a little misanthropic ideal for you. So in a way I agree with everyone else about cancer but at the same time I don`t because everyone is cancer.

The people on here are idiots. No, Homeless people are not the devil, nor do they deserve to be shot, nor are they extremely lazy...no amount of laziness will get you put on the streets, at some point you would say "Wow i`m about to live on the streets, maybe i should get an easy job, or at least apply for the free government housing (ie projects) that is available"...Homeless people are usually mentally impaired and unable to do these sorts of things for themselves, it is often not their faults for living on their streets as they just do not know how to live a normal life.

Hum... Bothering Cops to feed the homeless when he could do it himself - Cheap bastard, among other things.
They`re there for a reason.

Thats ok, I understand the irony of coppers feeding the homeless as opposed to arresting for al sorts of violations, being thrown in the slammer for a week seeing as they can`t pay the 50$ fine, then being thrown back onto the streets.

*end quotes*

KoalaMeatPie - I think you`re a bit confused. He didn`t bother any cops, and no cops gave food to anyone. He tricked the store manager into thinking the two homeless dudes were cops, so that he gave them food.

And all those comments about killing homeless people, and they are the cancer of society... I think the cancer of society is more likely posting in these forums...

I like it. I find it not bad at all. It was a practical joke with good intentions. Just like that one time in college when you paid a prostitute to follow your friend around to all his classes.

That was pretty cool. Though if you make their asses get a job they could have meals like that everyday. (teach a man to fish, ect...)

Going from completely homeless to being a completely normal middle class citizen with a nice job, a wife and 3 kids isent that hard. I did it.

i dont know, i gave up on humanity. if i didnt hate animals and hate having poo thrown at me i would go live with some chimps and lean how to hunt bush babies with spears or whatever that thing posted a few days ago sed some chimps were doing. then i would teach them to hate humans and to use guns. now im reminded of the futurama episode with the dark mater oil spill or whatever it was. win the hippie was handing out the guns and says "its a basic point and click interface". or was it simple. basic simple i dont care. well this went in a weird direction, im done.

aw seeing homeless people always makes me sad. i dont care if they are deserving of their status or not - no one should have to be on the streets and go hungry, no matter what the circumstances. i think it was awesome what that guy did, it just kind of ticked me off how he thought it was funny. he seemingly did it more as a joke than out of the kindness of his heart. but it was still nice to see those people get some food :)

placed in that position, as a store manager... I would have fed them...

You don`t know if they really are undercover cops... and the moral upside is if there not, you can still feel good about it.

Well, can`t say it`s all bad..

Besides, most people won`t dish out that two-eight bucks to give someone a meal.

Don`t get me wrong.. I think homelessness is a fix people can oft do for themselves, but everyone needs a break at some point.

I was touched. I liked it. Not to mention it was interesting that it worked. XD
