WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO HIDE A BADASS BIG SCREEN TV?? THAT WOULD BE MY PRIDE AND JOY IF I HAD ONE.

You guys are drating pussies if you cannot carry a 37 to 42in LCD or Plasma. None of you even own one so how the drat would you know? Anything bigger than a 42 in would be hard to lift because of size, but it is still very light. Plasma`s suck in so many ways, but you can lay them face down I was told but not face up. I`ll stick with LCD`s.

They should have TOTALLY hidden that room in the TV.

that was..retarded. I wouldn`t wait that long to watch tv and that device made it look even more "unsightly".

Pretty sure it can`t be a plasma, laying it down would damage the tv.

That lift weighs 5 times as much as that TV if not more. I agree with Guest, I HATE that fake antique crap. UGH. That room needed help. Personally I show off my two LCD screens cause for one, I have two, and secondly they rock.

Dude it takes 2 people to carry a 42" LVD HDTV TV, i know because i installed one for a mate!

That stand is stupid, and i wouldn`t trust it, it would need to be damn strong...

no DUMBASS!!!!!! YOU DON"T PHOTOSHOP MOVIES HENCE THE `PHOTO`, the only way to do that would be frame by frame editing, I use photoshop and premiere pro and people who say stuff like that piss me off!

ok now that im done with that, i saw this on digg like a week ago and many people brought up the fact that placing a plasma like that would ruin it, so either the guy who made this rig is stupid or its an LCD.

this is stupid and slow. the one i saw was on HGTV and the tv was stowed in the footboard of the bed. it didnt flip out or anything, just raised up when you want it, and went down when you didnt. the reason for that is because the chick didnt want a tv in her room, but the husband did. people saying that he doesnt have balls for letting her have a pink bed, you arent getting any huh? if i say ok to a pink bed, i get to have sex in it, as well as do most anything else i want.

also, if you had enough money for a tv that size in your bedroom, why wouldnt you have another, if not more than 1 more, somewhere else in the house? you must just be gay and want guys in your pink bed to have initially thought that.

At first it seemed kinda pointless to have one when you could just put it on a table a few more feet away..then i got to thinking, if you have money..why the hell not?

Unfortunately, the speakers are only capable of playing the opening of Also Sprach Zarathrusta...

Oh, and Plasmas are WAY heavier than similarly sized LCDs. That`s one reason why LCDs are gaining so much popularity, despite their other issues.

Plasma TV`s are also notoriously fragile when they are layed flat (very large, very thin glass panes), which is why you almost never see them layed into the back of a pickup truck, they`re always stored upright.

Why not wall mount it like any normal person does? Geesh, Americans -.-" also ... that rooms decor is really bad on the eyes. I want to gogue them out with a spoon!

^^ I agree with angello aswell. My 42" plasma needs more than one person to lift it. Although, I think that may be down to it not having anything that is easy for one person to grab onto to carry it more than because of the weight.

I`d rather just keep my TV against my wall. The only reason I can think of for really wanting one of those is just to show that you have the money to be able to.

Yeah beleive me I have a 63" Plasma and we need at least 3 people to move it nicely... But I do agree with the jumping on the bed thing even thou I think that there is a protective layer since the screen is upside down and then it turns....

Hmmmm agreed. Why would you want to hide it? It would be cool in a room that was done out really minimalist but.. hahahaha.. in this case, the ROOM isnt good enough for the plasma. They should have hid the room in the plasma

ok ok ok

so everyone agree this room was ugly? if you have so much money to spend on this things, can you please call someone to decorate your room a little bit better?

and Artgeek, maybe the "pink bed" was a deal betweent he guy and the girl?

"Honey, i want a pink bed!"
"you`ll get a pink bed the day i`ll be able to hide a TV plasma under the bed..."
"Ok!"

Maybe she just like to look at american idol there... or maybe any soap.... and when she is not hope, what a nice way to watch pron o.O;

Then again, if you have an tv like that but your bed is pink, you most likely are too whipped to have the guys over anyway. So, problem solved.

It`s cool and all, but honestly, if I had a giant plasma tv my fisrt thought would not be, "huh. Where can I put this thing so its hidden out of the way where no one can see it?" I mean, I can understand the thought process behind forcing your viewer to share a bed with you in order to watch it, but that has to make it really awkward to watch sports on with the guys.

Angello, at the very end it said underbedlift.com

A very excellent idea; I`d be worried about the rotating part, though. Those TVs can be heavy, and you`d need a seriously strong bracket just to hold it up.
