Norwegian humor reminds me of British humor.

Actually, it`s a bit like Monty Python, now that I think about it.

Yeah, that was really funny. Loved the bit where he closed the book the wrong way and couldn`t open it again. Really good.

I can`t help but wonder if there is some truth to that. Was there once a time when reading a book was as unintuitive to people as using a computer is to morons/old people now?

...nah.

fatalicus, you`re pretty right, but it`s not from KLM.. It`s from the show "Øystein og meg". None of the actors you listed is in this scene.

This is what IT people must feel like when they get stupid questions like "where`s the `any` key?"

spoken language is norwegian, and the bottom subtitels is danish.

this is a part of a norwegian comedy show from the 90`s called KLM (the first letter in the actors second name: Kirkvaag, Lystad and Mjøen) they are hilarious!

there is more to the video and you can see it here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=UR8USvMLHng

that video isn`t translated but i can tell you what they are saying after the video here ends:

support guy: Have you read the manual? it`s supposed to follow a manual. there it is.
customer: oh that! but see, there you have the same problem. I can`t get it open.
support guy: that we should have thought of..

I have fantasies about blowing up our IT people. They are all based out of India, but will they speak Hindi to me? NO! Why? Cause it is against their policy even though it is both our first language. So through their third rate poo accents and crap translations I have to suffer through hours of bullcrap. I can`t imagine outsorcing IT personal is a good idea.

NB:ch1ky:, the langauge is norweign, not danish. Im living here right now and have to hear people talk like that 24/7, almost scary cos I didnt need the subtitles.
