Without all the lame editing done by sophmoric toads, I thought the list was pretty interesting. I particularly enjoyed reading the list outloud, it read like a gnarled up story. Pretty fun though.

"What`s the least common word?"

It was a tie between antidisestablishmentarianism and onomatopoeia.

I don`t think the should be the winner. The fact that the people who picked the word the as the winner is just the silliest thing I`ve ever heard. The very idea of the word the being the most common word is just the dumbest idea the world could ever hear.

No no no, the spelling isn`t stupid. I never said or implied that. I used that as a basis for my reasoning that the person who vandalised the article was american. And the vandalism was essentially a stupid thing, and stupid things done by americans lead to stereotypes of all americans being stupid. The spelling isn`t stupid, the usage is.

Oh and "fool" is nothing more than a joke insult really. It`s just something to catch the person`s attention. It`s interesting how you said "once again" though, I never actually insulted you in any way before. So I may have been demeaning, but hey, that`s just how I argue.

There. Settled?

I see what you mean, now. I just figured you were saying since they spelt it wrong (i.e. since they`re "stupid"), they must be american.

once again I`m going to refrain from calling you a name back because I`m a grown-ass man, and as a grown-ass man I don`t call people names in arguments period. Let alone because they misunderstood something I said on the internet.

And really...if you understand that `feces` in an american variant as opposed to `faeces` which is a british variant, how would it make them stupid for being american and spelling it the way americans are taught to spell it? That alone doesn`t make sense.

B-Hazard, you`re a fool. Americans spell "faeces" as "feces". Since the majority of people who would spell it "feces" are going to be American, it`s simple probability that it`s most likely an American wrote it. I`m not stereotyping at all. And therefore, your comparison to the black person thing is completely irrelevant. Do YOU get where I`m coming from?

And MapleFr3ak, "the" is a definite article. It is most definitely not an adjective. So...YOU ARE WRONG >:O.

-"so...you`re saying a stereotype exists BECAUSE you`re stereotyping?"

Um...no. That`s completely and utterly wrong. It`s just that this person seems to be American, and I have reasonable proof of that.-

Yeah, but...your "reasonable proof" is a stereotype in and of itself. That`d be like someone saying: "your house was broken into so it`s safe to assume a black guy did it. No wonder black guys are stereotyped as criminals"

Get where I`m coming from?

And you`re probably right, sertrbl. I guess I have to start taking responsility for my utter awesomenss.

WHAT ABOUT THE F WORD? OR S WORD OR N WORD? I SAY THEM ABOUT A FEW HUNDRED TIMES A DAY...SOMETIMES ALL IN THE SAME SENTENCE.

J/K I DO HAVE A BROTHER AND FRIENDS WHO SAY THAT A LOT. HE LEARNED THAT IN THE ARMY I SWEAR.
IT`S BIZARRE.

"so...you`re saying a stereotype exists BECAUSE you`re stereotyping?"

Um...no. That`s completely and utterly wrong. It`s just that this person seems to be American, and I have reasonable proof of that. Therefore, this is an idiotic thing that has been done by an American. No stereotyping here. The stereotype exists because so many Americans (including yourself) do such things, so when someone thinks of Americans they think of things like this, thus a stereotype is born. Understand now?

And Trizz, it explains that `be` includes the rest of the verb, such as `am`, `are`, `is`, `was` etc. So yeah, people say it a lot...

Barrel Man, I am sure that the least common word would be floccinaucinihilipilification. I know for a fact pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcano(c/k)oniosis is used more than some words and Antidisestablishmentarianism is used, although very little.

Oh I am disappointed. These vandals could at least be consistent with their vandalism. The most used noun on the lower lists is time, but I see feces as being first! Might I also add that the non-or-maybe-semi-nice-in-real-life-individual who changed it spelt it without the a, so this person is probably American. Is it any wonder why people therefore see Americans as idiots?
