That`s kinda disturbing. Not the "break this record" part, but the fact that they actually have a record for it.

Actually, history has shown us that the only people better at killing Americans are other Americans. In the U.S. Civil War, more Americans were killed than in the War of 1812, the Spanish-American War, both World Wars, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, both Iraq wars, and the War on Terror COMBINED. That puts it in a strange perspective, doesn`t it?

It`s not their fault. It`s not insensitive at all. Formatted to every page, it just happens that a record is a "bad" record, but they still have the button.

-9/11 was also an act of war.

Hiroshima was a terrorist act if 9/11 was.-

How could it be an act of war if there wasn`t a war going on when it happened?

Nagasaki and Hiroshima were acts of war, not terrorism. The attacks were strategic and meant to force Japan into surrendering. It was an unfortunate but necessary attack. Ending the war that way may indeed have stopped the war with far less casualties than trying to grind Japan`s military down.

Ulysses S. Grant used the strategy of grinding Robert E. Lee`s troops towards the end of the U.S. Civil War, and it caused massive casualties on both sides, mostly on the Union`s. I would believe something similar to that effect would have happened without the nukes between the U.S. and Japan.

There is a difference in the Blitz and the 9/11 attacks (which under the definition that you have the Blitz is a terrorist attack.)Some definitions exclude acts committed by "legitimate" governments, however this exclusion is not universally accepted. Since Nazi Germany was a legitimate goverment the Blitz is not included as a terrorist attack but war casualties.... "Using this criterion, actions that would otherwise qualify as terrorism would not be considered terrorism if they were government sanctioned. For example, firebombing a city, which is designed to affect civilian support for a cause, would not be considered terrorism if it were authorized by a "legitimate" government." <<<<<Wiki

Weird, you`d think, looking at the definition of a terrorist attack (a surprise attack involving the deliberate use of violence against civilians in the hope of attaining political or religious aims) that the blitz would count as a terrorist attack also, after all at least 40,000 were killed then. Just a thought.

OH and there is an actual mistake "Terrorist" attack there were more than one terrorist so it was a "Terrorists" attack....
