DigitalPagan: Gooood explanation! Never would have crossed my mind and makes more sense than the tide, honestly. Thanks! (At least someone reads others` posts!)

Several other people: Why is there even a discussion on photoshop here? It`s a video. Shup anyway. It`s old.

Looks cooler than the picture of a melting glacier that looked like a wave. Even though the melting glacier still looked cool.

i`d say it`s the true definition of an endless summer... but it doesn`t look very summery, and not many people would surf that, so never mind.

that video was special. i dunno what made this movie so good....was it the lady making annoying noises the whole time, or the fact that the movie was 5 mins long. /sarcasm.

^^^ It was little men running around on the beach pushing up on the ice anytime the tide came in.

KoalaMeatPie.. Newfoundland, is one word :) I don`t know why you think it`s two words? But yeah, I didn`t find this very interesting. It was happening at the shore today when I went. The girl in the video is way too excited!

This happens in the spring, when the ice is melting. It gets fairly thin and a good wind pushes it up onto the shore. (like a train, when it gets moving, it doesn`t stop on a dime)
Visit any big lake (Winni, Leach, Mille Lacs) in Northern Minnesota late April early May and you`ll lots of this.

New Foundland .... Yeah they sounded like Newfies. Canada loves there newfies...

For The U.S., newfies are like West Virginians.

For the rest of the World, Newfies are like The Americans.

not shopped!
I`ve seen something like this hapen, but instead of this measly snow/ice, it was 20cm thick ice. It was about 2 meters high. Dont know anything weirder that nature trough at me.

You can tell the tourists vs the natives...one guy with winter gear and a furry Russian hat...another guy in shorts and a t-shirt, no coat or hat.

Oh yea, photoshopped BTW...and LAST POST!!!

So what was it `really` (because obviously it`s not waves pushing through ice or frozen waves...)...

Is it the tide coming in with the ice at just the right density?

It`s sweet, either way. I was waiting for that shack to go. Too bad it didn`t!
