First of all: Poor deprived cat had to teach itself to open up the bottle to properly nourish itself.

Secound of all: The laugh at the end reminds me of some amused pervert.

Third of all: Poor, probably sexually abused ,cat.

cats are sly... dogs are cleber but given that whole jar of food they would have just tipped it over and made a mess after gobbling that whole lot.
cats however make it look like a human had done it and only grabbed what it wanted.
smooth criminals...

the thing I don`t get is they do all these "smart" things but don`t understand the concept that I get pissed off when the open the doors to the pantry and start to destroy (not eat) all my bread. I would put locks on the doors, but the management at the apartment wont allow it, no matter what I do to the cats they don`t get the understanding that opening doors and breaking/destroying things = bad.

aww cats r so smart =]
all my cat can do is hide on the loft and attack unexpecting heads that pass by.
and another one only eats
then another chews tires
and the other is smart, he can open doors. which sucks because he opens the bathroom door when i`m using it
yeah, i gots 4 cats lol

- cat is hungry
-cat sees food
-cat swats top (top is already loose BTW)
- cat puts paw in

okay.. now is it really that cool?

My dog can open doors by using handles. Any cat or dog can learn to do something through observation. Especially if it has to do something with food. Not really surprising.

my cat did that once...JUST ONCE.. We think she had help from our other cats, anyway, she got into the kitty treats..needless to say, we found little kitty "presents" all over the house when we got home. Instead of a blood bath, it was a puke fest!

They basically got sick from eating too many treats. The hole to the container they were in was not as small as the one this cat dealt with. It was much bigger.

But that cat is awesome.

Not to sound like a horrible pet owner or anything, but right after my son was born I kind of got caught up in the new baby and forgot to water my cat. (Horrible I know) Anyways that day I came home and she had somehow turned the faucet on and was drinking out of the sink.

Cats are really smarter than they let on.

Don`t know about dogs, but that cat is definitely smarter than my rats.
They have yet to figure out that it`s imposible to pry the lid off a food container while standing on it.
Very awesome that that cat can scoop it out with a paw.

That`s pathetic, I did that to my cat once and she drove to Wal-Mart, bought a welding torch, opened it, made some tea, put the food on a plate, walked into the living room, sat down, ate it, then shot me in the knee.

True story.

"If the cat was really smart, he would have knocked over the bottle and gotten more to eat."
Ah, but that would have created a mess, and the cat`s too smart for that!

My Mom`s old cat when growing up would actually open doors by twisting the doorknob and kicking the wall. This is good though (the cat in the video).. shows that a lot of cats are pretty bright.
