After the Pope had seen a bunch of potential artists applying to be commissioned to paint the Sistine Chapel; Michelangelo turned up late, with only limited time to prove himself, he grabbed a large piece of paper and draw upon it a big perfect circle, free-hand. The pope was amazed and gave him the job.

There is history to this. It was said only Picasso could draw a perfect freehand circle. So the contest is set out to find a person who can draw damn near a perfect circle. Although it is mathmatically impossible for a human hand to draw a "perfect" circle.

I loved the part where he was drying the chalkboard and it looked iike he was doing some kind of weird penguin flapping. XD

And he did the circle so darn fast! I would be creeping along with that chalk...but I guess that wouldn`t make mine freehand.

It`s never gonna be perfect, but it`s perfect enough for me.

    One question though.

    Who is more sad?

The ones who enter the competition to draw the perfect circle?

Or the ones that decide which one is the most perfect? (judges)

And the competition is who can draw the highest number of the most accurate circles in a set amount of time, so they go on a blackboard and just whip through drawing circles over and over. The whole thing is verified by projecting a laser outline of the circle on the board. It`s pretty damn sweet.

Does "Mr. Overwijk" appreciate being all over the internet, name included?

I suppose he doesn`t care, tho.. seeing as he `won` the competition at some point.

    <.< Huh.

I used to LOVE teachers that wouldn`t teach the whole hour.

We had a history teacher that raised pigs. He would be in the middle of teaching, then someone would ask about his pigs. The rest of the hour, all we would hear about it how his pigs were. Quite fun
