but i mean she probably saved him while he was a cub or something..otherwise....that wouldnt be happening...meaning..she wouldnt have a face
I do think it`s wonderful that she rescued the lion from the traveling circus! I`m sure The lion wasn`t happy where he was - that is not his natural environment. God Bless her for caring!
By the way CARNIVIA2, not ALL cats bite & scratch. My husband & I have 3 cats that are soooo affectionate - they love to snuggle & give kisses. I think it helps to have interaction with them when they are kittens. I was constantly picking them up, holding them on their backs & rocking them like babies, and always showing affection to them. They act how they are raised.
I saw it on cuteoverload.com, my cute fix, but still good. ^-^
It would be fun to have one but still scary. I mean, I had a cat which are, lets face it, deminished lions, and I raised it since it was a kitten but it would still bite me n scratch me as cats do :-P anyway, I would hate for the lion to bite her playfully n not know what damage it was causing. That would be nasty :-/
Agreed. People often forget the "wild" in "wild animal". No matter how much time you spend with a wild animal, no matter how much you know them, they are still wild, and there is no way to predict what they will do.
I have a degree in animal behaviour and welfare and I`m sure it`s only her he`s affectionate with because he knows and trusts her, I`m pretty positive he`d maul anyone else who tried that
Yes it is very cute.
i guess since she nursed it back to health...would that be sortof like some birds and other creatures think that whatever the first see when they are hatched/born/whatever is their mammy?
That is just awkward. That lion should have mauled her. I am confused because of this.
