Not really, just a melting glacier, but still pretty cool.

There was maybe ONE big snowstorm (that I heard of) and it was this ice catastrophe across the midwest.. but otherwise? Normal snowfall didn`t happen. It didn`t happen last year, either."

I didn`t make that comment, KoalaMeatPie did....he said
"Anybody Complainning about global warming has never had to Shovel 3 feet of snow and de-ice the car at 4am to leave in time to get to work at 7am."
On the first page. I should have made that post more clear....of course I am talking about a small argument that happened months ago B-|

B-Hazard:

And that constitutes `normal` how? It was late, and it doesn`t sound `heavy` like the `normal` years. In WI where we get several feet a year we got perhaps six inches. I`m not -there- but my parents are.

That`s my point. Not that `omg it didn`t snow`. My point is that it`s been dramatically reduced.

just imagine 4 days of rain then a week of how weather then a week of F-ing hot weather

i hate living in australia

"Also, Notice how the left area is not `normal temperature.` It was BELOW AVERAGE, so it is only reasonable that maybe someday it would be above average."

http://news.webshots.com/album/556772350...

And it`s snowed at least 5 times since. Not as much snow as the blizzard, but enough for the street outside of my house to have just become visable when it`s been a week since the last storm. My back yard is covered in at least 2 feet of `frozen snow` right now.

Can`t people just look at a pretty glacier without spewing their thoughts on global warming? There`s three opinions: "eek! we`re screwed and we`re making ourselves more screwed!", "Who cares?", and "That`s BS."

It`s not like your opinion is new and interesting. Just stare at the pretty glacier, which is what I`m reduced to doing because I have nothing else to do, stuck inside because there`s 2+ ft of snow.

well, during the ice age, the average temperature was only 8 degrees colder than it is today, so even .5 is a big difference when you are talkiabout the average temperature of the world

PayN8tention, I can still track down your IP and shoot you.

In other words, STFU you little 16 year old twat. You just said it yourself "Al Gore got to me first". You got all your info form One source.

READ many things, Evaluate THEN come up with your own opinion of things. other wise all you can say is "I know something, And it all came from him, Infact my views are the same as his, he sounded right." We allready ahev a Al Gore, We don`t need another. The Value of your individualty drops. You are nothing.

Ok so I haven`t had to shovel snow, but there`s no bloody water left here.

There`s one riverleft in Victoria (Melbourne), and even that`s struggling now, they`re talking about closing it so the farmers can drain out yet another water supply.

Half the place has burnt down over the last year too.

I really don`t want to end up drinkin my own p*ss, so I really hope they work out something soon so I can get the stupid bucket out of my shower.

Stop whingin now... nice pics btw

Al Gore can go screw himself. That movie was a pile of steaming, smelly poopoo, fitting for a man of his stature.

Bias, ridiculous, and lispy.

You know that Antarctic ice shelf that broke. Global warming? Earthquake. Either way I don`t care, I don`t plan on living a couple hundred years, unless they have FTL travel.

Does anybody know where this glacier is? I`d love to visit it, if indeed it is going away.

GRAPH OF TEMPERATURE & CO2

Before you say something about global warming, realize that it is natural, and we are no where near the CO2 or temperature levels of the past.

Most graphs will show you the last 100 thousand years or so, but the earth is a little older than that. If you notice they also show `huge` jumps in temperature, but it is actually ~.4-.8 degrees Celsius.

^^^^ Not to say KoalaMeatPie has not been a great addition to forums on iab....but he`s just digging himself deeper. Nothing "natural" about the industial revolution as shabufala clearly revealed was a major cause on that handy-dandy graph.

And as for people complaining of global warming have never shoveling 3 feet of snow and de-icing cars at that hour. I`d like to say people NOT conserned about global warming have obviously never seen Al Gore`s (sp?) film.

In conclusion...sry Koala, but in all fairness Al Gore got to me first.

To those who blame global warming on volcanoes, sure they produce a pooload of CO2, possible more that humans do in a day. But thats the major eruptions like Saint Helens, and last I checked major eruptions have not increased that greatly since about the 1850`s.

Anyone not complaining about global warming doesn`t understand the effect it`ll have on the whole world not just their little part. Whole nations will suffer from poverty, famine and diseases. So yeah maybe it`ll make your life easier on winter day but it`ll also make other peoples life hell permanently. Now if thats not selfish I don`t know what is.

I agree with Koala and Devi, a major climate change of the entire world pales in comparison to the horrific events that take place on a day to day basis due to Mother Nature being a colossal bitch. My God, I once had to watch hundreds, nay, thousands of people walk around in the snow. It was the most disturbing thing I`ve ever seen and I don`t believe I`ll ever recover from it; I`m still in therapy. My only consolation is knowing that snow can strike at any place, at any time and nobody has the power to know exactly what places will get the demonic, frozen water from the heavens above.

In other news, that was pretty ^_^.
