If it`s true I doubt this`ll be the only site saying the article, and this could be breaking news soon. Interesting that they note that because it`s not patented it won`t get the funding the deserves.
Where the hell does all that charity money towards cancer research go if not towards things like this? This is why I never do those cancer fundraiser things.

just looking at the comments.... it`s p1$sing me off to see that most of the people who are skeptical are from the US... that is exactly what the FDA wants to happen.. "Only a drug that can be patented and sold for 5,000% markup can legally be used to treat or cure disease" Yes, it`s true, and there`s cheap, safe, effective cures for many other serious diseases too, but if you want to know about them, you must leave the US, where that information is censored by the greedy government

It`s not really that new of info, and it`s not a cure for cancer. It is an acid that will allow cells damaged by cancer to not die. That`s not a cure, but it sure does get the hippies into complaining about the evil powers of the government and our health care system.

"Shame on the U.S.A. Your people are too fat and lazy to help themselves. Your people are too poor to pay for their own health car. The govenment should do it for you for free. So you can have the great health care the rest of the world has." Yipee.

Most cancers isn`t all cancers. I don`t know what cancers are and aren`t stopped by this drug but Leukemia surely isn`t one of them. And also the success rate is probably a lot lower then that companies willing to tell you. Most likely a clever marketing plot set up by the U.S government to takeover all world orders and unify it under the aliens they`ve known about since 1950. Yes, That last part was a joke.

just because its isn`t on tv doesn`t make it any less true. People choose to put things on television based on what their sponsors tell to. So if a sponsor doesn`t want it on, then they won`t have it on.

    I think Victory is retarded.

"There are countless compounds that can do the same thing that never turn into viable treatments."

Here`s some info from the MSN article, so acording to this skeptist view it could only work in rats, or it could be viable, we don`t know, the MSN article notes that due to the extremely small molecular size, it gives it a better potential effectivness when compared to most other false hits that only worked in rats.

Victory is actually right when he says this:

"There are countless compounds that can do the same thing that never turn into viable treatments."

If the United States does not find an immediate way to make money off the product, they will not jump in to make it available to the public. Only if they have full patent for the drug, and if they can introduce it to the FDA for futher analysis and claim it as "ours", and sell it at an extremely expensive price, THEN the US will jump in that bandwagon and sell it here. Otherwise, there`s no money in it.

Same thing with solar power. The technology is THERE. Cars that run on water-fuel are THERE. Some are being used in Northern regions of the hemisphere. BUT NOT HERE. WHY? The freaking United States of Greedy America wants to keep us dependent on OIL. That`s a money maker right there.

We live and breathe money. That`s what it all comes down to. Sad.

Im wondering who helped you with the big words, your four year old nephew? It said in very plain english that it turned on the mitochondria which also turns on the cell`s ability to self destruct. Has nothing to due with the military industrial complex or any other conspiracy crap. Abnormal cells self-destruct, normal cells continue to replicate. No cancer.

You are another one who needs help with reality. Help me to understand, if your only reliable source for information is from CNN, then why would you bother reading anything on the internet.

Victoryrider - "I think they have had the cure for years (Whether it`s this or not). Cancer is an effective means of population control, so they continue to use it." Cancer as an effective means of population control! You just like to hear yourself talk don`t you? You`re an idiot EstiloPanama
The only cars that run on water are cars ran with fuel cells, and there are PLENTY of issues of why those aren`t in mass production for retail use. Price, city infrastructure for hydrogen stations, storing the hydrogren, transporting the hydrogen, CREATING the hydrogen, the duribility of fuel cells, and so on. So get a brain before spouting such retarded crap.

There have been numerous failed "magic bullets" over the years so lets just hope. It will take 10 years of clinical testing anyway. Also, cancer is not just one illness, it is hundreds of different ones, all of which happen to accelerate the cell cycle. I work for Cancer Research UK, and we`re still doing all sorts of research, it`s not over just yet.
