Although I came to this site purely because I was bored, I was very glad to stumble upon this one. I too, have a low attention span but I would think this video would show people what other people in the world suffer. These children could not live a full life, fulfilling their dreams and goals. At least give it a little thought and be somewhat grateful to the things that have made you happy right now.
I wonder if he knows that he wont really grow up to be that old :-(
Extremely informational I hope they get that cure out soon. Is it patheitic that I`ve never heard of this disease? And that movie with Robin Williams was cool, but not at all like these kids` situation.
It`s depressing, but to see their strength, it is also inspiring.
did anyone else watch it to the end? where`s the next story?
mxchick617: That`s what I said, too. Maybe other cases of progeria, seeing how it`s so rare, is where the concept of `alien` came from. Big eyes, big heads, small mouths, small bodies that aren`t shaped just quite right..?
Overall: I watched the entire thing. Had to. It was `depressing`, especially if you didn`t watch the whole thing through.. but at the end the doctor noted how these children were strong spirited. They`ve offered themselves to study in hopes to help future children... what wonderful, innocent nobility right there. So often this is lost with adulthood. They`ve never known life like we have, and so while they `see` us as normal, the know `not` what normal feels like, so they don`t know what they`re missing, just like we don`t know -exactly- what they feel. That and they are living as fully as they can.
I knew you`d be back. How can you still post with a closed account?
Is there an invisible Function on YT? Where is it?
I couldn`t watch it all...@_@
they look like the aliens from mars attacks.
Oh and whoever posted it, you should post the next week ep too that they showed at the end, about that 1.5 child that was born with 2 heads and torsos but only one set of limbs
I POSTED IT! WHEEEEEEEEEEE!!
hmmm... its the year 2007 not 2023
p.s i loveee KOALAMEATPIE
yeah, that was a depressing 45 minutes
Oh, and, boohoo-Sadness~
at least there`s lots of research getting done, and god bless the genome project
It was interesting how the particular type of progeria was unique to their family...
its interesting too, but i don`t want to watch 45 minutes of it.
