Very cool.....Wish we had something like that in the USA. Unfortunately, there are too many a** hats who would find a law suit in it.
Those kids looked like they had a ton of fun w/ those things.

I wanna go to Niagra Falls and try that out. Or walk around at my local lake. It would be funny if you were with a friend, like if your friend was across from you. Then you`d both be running at eachother with your arms out and be like "I"M COMMIIINGG!" then fall. Hahaha.

They`re not going to float away. The ball is attached to the shore with a rope.

No idea if ciaky is actually in the industry, but if I was creating those, that`s basically how I`d do it.

As for how long would it last? IIRC in an average room, if it`s sealed, you will die of hunger. You don`t go through oxygen very fast.

The "Zipper" Looks more like a flap, which sounds more practical to me.

haha i like how the kids sometimes just walk back up onto land and away from the water like it`s no big deal hahah. i`d go in there until i started to feel a little funny, then i`d get out.

For those people who are complaining about people leaving their kids out in those, I believe what they were doing was playing a GAME.

They`re not letting their children free on the water. The kids go out to a certain point and then there`s a long string attached for pulling them back.

This is a chinese copy of the waterball , I invented these balls back in 1998, our balls are made of pvc, chinese balls are made of tpu, anyway plastic. rides last only about 15-20 minutes inside the ball , there is about 4 hours worth of breathing air for an adult inside an 8ft diameter ball. Just about all the questions about these are answered on our web site if anyone is interested in finding out how these work , We have a 100% clean slate of safety , no one , and none of our customers have had any accidents of any kinds , you inflate using a garden leaf blower. The Flaming lips use our transparent balls at all or most of their concerts these days, Red Bull has done events with us, we have had articles in Rolling Stone magazine, been on TV all over the world , 2 page article in Newsweek, American Way magazine and on and on. The balls are safe and fun to use on water and also on land.

I think its a type of rubber. When the parents are rolling them down it kinda bounces like a bouncy ball would.

Female 172
well actually those could be made quite safe with an oxygen supply attached to the child. and also, that`s really incredible. Although, there would definately have to be a weight limit.

vachement: If it`s a "harder plastic ball" how do you get the people in and out of the thingy? How come the kids doesn`t hurt themselves when they fall? They seem to taking quite some tumbles in there. And if that seam is for getting air in, how come it doesn`t take in water as well when it`s under the surface?

What that is is a soft yet tough plastic ball that you enter through the zipper when it`s semi-inflated and then seal and pressurize. Air will run out eventually, but that`s why they have the time limit (and strings tied to the hub).

Brian61316-- that`s not a zipper, that`s how they get the air in. It`s a harder plastic ball that can`t be popped and there`s a door of some sort to get in to make sure it`s water-tight. A giant plastic zipper would probably not be water-tight in the first place. I`m pretty sure that these people are smart enough not to put their children into something that will kill them, and then have video-tape it and put it on the internet.
Additionally, maybe you should consider not being so rude to people that you don`t even know online, especially when you don`t think about about what the case could really be-- a giant plastic zipper--- ha.

like the kid who looked like he was carried downstream and not going anywhere. Semi soft plastic bubble with a zipper or somthing to let you crawl in. If used properly can be fun, ages 13 and up.

OMG the parents are pushing the kids in there ? I wouldnt be surprised if they all united to press a button and flush them to their DOOM! I think those parents enjoy watching the kids falling and suffering in an sofocating plastic ball.

p.s. tobyvictory- dont be such a Fúck face and see the stupit video. If you notice its a plastic ball with a black long zipper. who`s the idiot now?

it doesnt look really flexible, i think it is made out of plastic
and that there is some door u climb in and close, and the black line whas prolly something that would let air in
so i think it wont pop that fast

Hmmm ! Something defintely wrong with that, no life jackets.. and let`s say that the bubble actually burst, you`re wrapped in plastic, cant breath, move and eventually suffocate and sink to the bottom..

Genius !

Wouldn`t the container have to be pumped full of air while the person was in it? Then would the person inside the bubble have limited air before the oxygen was replaced with carbon dioxide? Anyone know the exact numbers of how long a child that size could last in that bubble? If this was brought to america I could see lawsuits by parents who leave their children unatended in this.
