I don`t know. If there`s a fire, your computer will be the first to go.
On the other hand, if you use a laptop computer, then the grill would be even more handy. Heck, you could have it cooking in the car.

thats pretty slick... can you imaging being able to cook a jiucy hamburger in your dorm room w/o worrying about burning it? everyone would be SOOOO jealous. The price is a little steep for me, if it was $40 id buy it, but for now ill stick with my regular 120V GF grill... Ill rely on my nose to tell when its done rather than my computer.

P.S. this is not a joke, this is for real... it only needs one USB port because it uses capacitors to make the high voltage required to cook....

P.P.S. turning the grill on from work so its hot when you get home (through the internet) is NOT a good idea... i think you know why...

    Its NOT real you idiots.

Its off ThinkGeek. Its meant to be an April Fools joke! You guys are all SO GULLIBLE! Do you ACTUALLY think that it can cook food VIA internet connection? ITS dratING IMPOSSIBLE! There wouldn`t be enough power to supply that grill. It will suck the power from your computer.

Hmmm, lets try cooking a nice BEEFY burger. You can eat it and if you get sick from the uncooked meat, then your wrong, and I am right. Theres no way in HELL that it can cook meat to the proper heat.

The amount of energy needed to heat that grill would fry your drives in a matter of minutes, no pun intended. There is no way that a usb could sustain that much power. I must admit that the Hulk Hogan grill looks damn interesting. I wish I had seen that last week when my old GF grill shorted out. Too bad the new one`s already in the mail.
